Your comments about advising this young man about his "ostentatious wedding" convinced me you and I don't live in the same south.
That is the one part about this I don't like. She should have claimed amnesia, or that she couldn't see who took her. Blaming Hispanics was a bad thing, although perhaps it popped into her head because she was in the Southwest.

What you are failing to see here is she didn't ask to be found nor for anyone look for her. I have taken a day off and no one knew where I was or when I was coming home. Haven't you if not you need to.
