The fiancee of Jennifer Wilbanks, the runaway bride, is on Hannity & Colmes tonight at 9 PM EDT. Also Zell Miller will be on. Tune in !
So it's "southern" to get the cops looking for a Hispanic guy in Albequerque with nightsticks in tow? "Southern manners" to get an entire town giving up their week looking for you while you throw them off the scent with snipped hair?
= = = = = = = =
What you are failing to see here is she didn't ask to be found nor for anyone look for her. I have taken a day off and no one knew where I was or when I was coming home. Haven't you if not you need to.
The lie about the Hispanic lasted what an hour maybe two and she told the truth.
If the media hadn't spread this all over we would have never know. She should have been treated like every other missing person. I am sure there are missing persons right now, this one caught our attention because she was geting married and her father-in-law is a judge.
I bet (if one could find out) the cops spend more time in the coffee shop than they spent on this search.
You may live in the south but you aren't southern. Hopefully you are not a transplant that moves down here because they 'just loooovvvvvve' the laided back lifestyle, then want to turn it into the hell you came from.
Something to consider:
Had I been at John's Tuesday night - thus giving him a rock solid alibi and immediatley discounting this as another "Scott Peterson" case, would it have generated this much attention? no way.
This was a media creation, sparked by a mistake no doubt, but there are thousands of women who leave for unknown reasons. They are not vilified like this.
You are so wrong dear.
That wedding cost at least a 100,000 and the wedding will happen or the gifts will be returned.
Lyndie disgraced the American Army in a time of War,,,you really cannot compare the two.
The only difference between the two is a matter of degree. If she hadn't recanted her story, there would probably be a Latino man in handcuffs now. As for the "nut case world of cable news" publicizing her, it was because of her powerful family getting the word out.
You shouldn't necessarily. I don't. It is not my business nor the publics' business that she ran out on her wedding. That is a private matter. Grandstanding DAs and Police Chief's on the other hand is a matter for the public.
Like I've already said, it became a public matter when LEOs got involved. And the next person who goes missing is going to suffer repercussions, due to her actions.
I'm really shaking my head at the "southern belles" here myself. They've somehow trademarked this woman's psychosis into a source of regional pride. Wonder if it had been a poor black woman claiming a white guy kidnapped her? Think they'd be rallying around Tara for her?
Well, they are spoiled yuppie brats but its still a human interest story.
Yeah, she should have blamed a white man from, oh, Iowa.
So many people live out their entire lives vicariously through these little televised psychodramas.
It is sad, when you really think about it.
Ahhhhhh, the truth--you can't beat it!
Are you listening pathetic Jennifer and supporters?
Really? Is that the standard now? Then we better shut down this board. Because using that standard, how dare any of us judge John Kerry or Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat, since we don't actually know them personally, and only know them from news reports!
As an alleged insider, you failed to answer this question here earlier. Has she called off the wedding before in any way that you know of?
They prosecuted one up in Wisconsin for the just the very same thing.
Didn't Tawana claim to be abducted by six officers of the law and raped?
Didn't Tawana file actual police reports and actually identify six officers as the culprits?
Didn't Tawana and Mr. Sharpton have a clear political agenda in continually smearing the officers?
Unlike this woman, Didn't Tawana try to stick to her story even after she repudiated it to the grand jury.
I think comparing this woman to Tawana is a little over the top.
Yes, the "Holier Than Thou" "real, true conservatives all in quite a snit about Larua's remarks. The slurs posted against her were quite unbelieveable! One poster used the W word, and I do NOT mean W. as in Walker Bush.
Bwahahahaha
Reminds of an ex-girlfriend who said she fell in love with me because I was reading a book in a bar.
She later threw me over because, "all you do is drink beer and read".
I did respond. I don't know anything of that. I've known Jennifer less than a year, and she has been a good friend in that time. I do not know of much in her past; especially about past relationships. Why would I?
Is she one of the worst news presenters on television, or what? She has no breath control, gasps constantly, and that constantly hyped-up manner and smile and extra decibels are so annoying.
She must have some embarrassing pictures of Roger Ailes.
And lets not forget the poster who accused her of supporting beasiality.
Cops and many concerned citizens may have put themselves in harms way looking for a selfish broad who skips town instead of simply telling her fiance that she didn't want to marry him. At least not now.
It's very much a matter for the DA if this woman diverted resources on a wild goose chase.
And Duluth citizens can be forgiven if, the next time a young woman goes missing, they are suspicious of the wild goose's motives.
