The fiancee of Jennifer Wilbanks, the runaway bride, is on Hannity & Colmes tonight at 9 PM EDT. Also Zell Miller will be on. Tune in !
I can sympathize. I think prayers for both of them certainly wouldn't hurt. I might pray for God to enlighten to him that's it actually a positive thingy for him to feel justified anger towards her.
I don't know if there should be some consequence, but she's a 32 year old women, and it's bad that it happens that way. And I'm very sorry for all concerned, including all those who went out and searched for her."
I paraphrased it.
There is chivalry and then there is just plain old delusion. I know what camp I feel he's in.
I am sorry but I am southern. Noone understands us or likes us really, but each other.
This is a southern myth in the making. It involves all the southern archetypes. It is classic.
This woman has gotten a rap that is undeserved and I think the level of vitriol is more telling of the posters than it is of her. Nobody here knows the story. I think I do because I was born and raised here and I know Jennifers and all the characters in this play. I know them like they are relatives.
I think the making of a great myth is fascinating. And all the rest will fade. Nobody died. The judgements are overly harsh in my opinion. That is all.
Zell pointed out how many people had been inconvenienced by this, and that she was 32 years old, and Sean interrupted to say that everyone was glad they weren't covering someone dead, so then Zell said of course they were glad about that, and he hoped she would get some help. Hannity then segued to Zell's book.
They were laughing about this song on CNN this morning:
THANK GOD AND GREYHOUND
Recorded by Roy Clark
Words and music by Larry Kingston and Ed Nix
I've made a small fortune and you sqandered it all
You shamed me till I feel about one inch tall
But I thought I loved you and I hoped you would change
So I gritted my teeth and didn't complain
Now you come to me; with a simple good-bye
You tell me you're leavin' but you don't tell me why
Now we're here at the station and you're getting on
And all I can think of ... is ...
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone.
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone
I didn't know how much longer I could go on
Watchin' you take the respect out of me
Watchin' you make a total wreck out of me
That big diesel motor is a-playin my song
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone.
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone
That load on my mind got lighter when you got on
That shiny old bus is a beautiful sight
With the black smoke a-rollin' up around the tail light
It may sound kinda cruel but I've been silent too long
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone.
Thank God and Greyhound, you're gone.
I believe it, I really do. And I think that is part of the problem , that and the flatware problem.
What a maroon.
The way sentiment was running, ole John might have found himself arrested for her demise.....and she wouldn't even have demised yet!
I think if I were John I would be just a teeny bit upset!
My husband had been in Europe this past week, and he heard nothing about this case.
He's home now, and is watching TV, and the first thing he said was "just Look at her eyes, she looks nuts!" lol
Hannity's really drinking the Kool-Aid on this story.
If I had a choice between marrying this Cosby critic and Jennifer Wilbanks, I'd be on one knee to Jennifer, though...
She had only moved in there in the last month. I have no idea where she lived before. He said she spent a "few" nights under his roof.
Why would you be so ugly about their church. Ugly, ugly, ugly. And hateful, hateful, hateful.
She wouldn't have to handle it. I'm sure Big Momma and Big Momma-In-Law will take over all child-rearing functions from Day One.
yeah ,...that was GREAT ,...BTW , I thought Judge/Mayor Mason would've brought his son,the schnook, back to earth by now , ..."do you want kids[read that grandbabies, also] by that woman?"
Never mind that. :-)
