Mr. Mason run for your life.
Let's take a hypothetical and reverse the roles - does ANYONE here believe that a woman would take a man back who pulled this stunt?
I hate to admit it, but the obvious answer proves women are smarter.
You betcha.
She wasn't running away.
She just got confused and tried to go on her honeymoon early. Without her husband.
The real tragedy of this "story" will be if the guy doesn't run.
If this candidate for Mensa can't see that the marriage IS going to end in disaster, he deserves what he gets.
Mr. Mason needs to read up on Borderline Personality Disorder.
If she didn't want to marry him THAT much that she'd fake an abduction, she should NOT marry him.
SomeBody is trying to tell her to "just say NO!"
" ... She says the wedding is not called off, just postponed."
Let me give a little advice:
1. To the Bride to be: If the thought of getting married to this guy causes you to flee your state, chances are he's not the right guy for you.
2. To the Groom to be: RUN!!!! as fast as you can!!!!
Either that, or it shows male dominance. The guy gets what he wants.
Apparently, this guy doesn't want brains.
Mr. Mason could use this "embarrassment" to his advantage and get a hotter chick to marry.
Men are stupid. We'll do anything for a woman we think we love.
Alot of people get cold feet. If she goes through with it, it shows she has thought about her doubts and is sure.
Still haven't heard a word of apology from her as to how much trouble she's caused everyone. She takes the opportunity to release a statement through the airline attendant to tell us the wedding is just postponed. So I guess all of her lucky friends & family have to take more time off from work now so little Jennifer can have her fairy tale wedding after all. Gives new meaning to the saying "it's a woman's perogative to change her mind".
Still seems to be "all about her".......
I agree with you, and I think the groom needs to forgive her and then forget she exists!
Cold feet? Is that what you call this stunt? The womans begging for help and marriage won't fix that.
I believe in love. They are in love, at least he is. It will all work out in the end. She just needs to settle down.
Actually we are so much shallower then that we will do anything for a women that says yes!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a little co-dependency going on between the two of them.
I've known several couples - married a long time - where one of them is either demanding or helpless to the extreme. But the spouse hangs in there adoringly. Seen the same teaming happen in young, engaged couples, too.
Whatever floats their boats, as long as they don't turn it into a media circus.
