Dave Matthews Band Settles Bus Waste Case

Chicago -- The Dave Matthews Band, settling a lawsuit stemming from human waste dumped from a tour bus onto people touring the Chicago River, has agreed to pay $200,000 to an environmental fund and take measures to avoid a repeat of the incident, the Illinois attorney general said Friday.

The bus was crossing a bridge last summer when the waste poured through metal grates onto the open deck of an architectural tour boat carrying more than 100 passengers. The agreement with Attorney General Lisa Madigan does not settle several personal-injury lawsuits that also have been filed.

The band agreed to record when and where its tour buses empty septic tanks.

Last month, driver Stefan Wohl was sentenced to probation and community service after he pleaded guilty to reckless conduct and discharging contaminates to cause water pollution. Band spokesman John Vlautin said Wohl has been fired.

That's funny, I remember the leftie members and management of that band proclaiming to the heavens that they were innocent. You mean they were caught in a bald-faced lie?

No, it means you didn't read the article:

"Although the band members were not on the bus when the incident took place, we have always said that if it was our bus we would take responsibility for what happened," Vlautin said. "That is exactly what we're doing today."

I assume by human waste they mean his music, which I would highly agree with. I remember when this bonafide no talent jerkoff who sings like a retard first came on the scene, the station we use to listen to at work, 104.3 here in New York, use to play the retard CONSTANTLY! Just absolutely non-stop and everyday we would fax this station every time they played the retard rather than change the station as a bet to see if we could get them to stop. We even had a day where the DJ read one of our faxes where we asked the station to have a contest to see if anyone could understand what the retard was 'singing', and if anyone could answer the mystery as to why the retard was popular with some people and if they were registered democrats as well, and he pretty much agreed with everything we said. He hated the retard just as much as us. Just goes to show you how payola enslaves this DJ`s at these stations. Talk about a nightmare job from hell.

No, it means you haven't been following this story.

Last August a spokesman for the band says all of its tour buses were parked at the time of the incident. They started out denying it. They were doing a tour for kerry at the time.

No, it means you didn't read the article:

Physician heal thyself.

I specifically stated "I remember the leftie members and management of that band proclaiming to the heavens that they were innocent".

The statement "the band members were not on the bus" does not in ANY way contradict what I wrote.

"The band agreed to record when and where its tour buses empty septic tanks."

Well, that's more appropriate than letting the band record in a studio.

What'd the people on the boat sign something saying they wouldn't sue? I'd be talking to a lawyer if I was on the freakin' boat that day.
