Slightly larger version of the pic, on the off chance someone here will recognize her:

It's more likely that another child about the same age would recognize her. I see kids in the neighborhood but don't pay any particular attention to what they look like but this girls class mates see her every day.

I'm saving the larger picture you posted and as my grand kids visit I will show it to them.

Does anyone recognize the childs toy? toy life cycles are pretty short and that could help narrow the time of the picture.

She looks like a million other girls in the northeast. Couldnt they crop out a full face shot?

I hope someone will recognize this poor child. Her knees appear to be bruised.

Sending her picture out on my email list. It will get wide dissemination.

Those clothes.

They have some sort of bead trim. I do not much about kid's clothes. I am an OLD, old man. However, is that a current style or maybe from a couple of years ago????

The beads remind me of lamps from long ago with bead trim around the base of the shades. That is why I noticed them. Like I said I am OLD!

Anyway, maybe some of the lady freepers might have a clue about that outfit with and when bead trim was popular. That might help date the pic.

She has make up on. Shadow and perhaps mascara.

That looks like a variation of an electronic handheld diary that my girls had back in the late 90's. It does look like the Powerpuff Girls on the top portion.

Dunno if anybody else did this - but I just copied that picture and zoomed in real close on those knees. Also, on the right wrist. That little girl's got some serious bruising there. This is not a gal who has NOT been abused.
