Hey, ask a CRAT what color the top light on a intersection red light and they will say "Is there lights on red lights?" No there is a little man on the pole that waves flags.

Moranic Record

" With Virginia congressman Jim Moran's recent complaints that Jews are pushing America into war with Iraq, House Democrats appear to have found their replacement for their previous King of Controversy, Jim Traficant (who is currently serving an eight-year prison term for bribery, racketeering, and income-tax evasion).

At an antiwar forum in Reston, Va., Moran contended that the U.S. would not be considering military action against Iraq "if it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war… The leaders of the Jewish community are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going, and I think they should..."

"..Moran's comments are only the latest in a legislative career that has been increasingly marked by physical threats, lost tempers, odd comments, and ethically questionable deals.

— In May 2001, Lloyd Grove, "Reliable Source" columnist for the Washington Post, reported that Moran's house was the site of "a ruckus that a witness described as 'something out of a Jerry Springer episode.'" According to Grove's account, two female friends of Moran visited the recently divorced congressman and were surprised to find the other, and after screaming and door slamming, Moran had one of the women "by the arm, trying to get her out of the house." Moran's chief of staff, Paul Reagan, explained: "It was just two very good friends who came to give him birthday presents and were surprised that the other one was there."

— In June 2000, Moran's wife, Mary, called police to their home claiming the congressman pushed her. Moran told police he pushed her in self-defense when she came toward him, but Mrs. Moran disputed that. There was no evidence of assault, and charges weren't filed. They divorced shortly after the incident..."

More Democrat wisdom and carefully considered, erudite conversation so as to elevate the level of discourse. Man oh man, this stuff just never ends!

If personal accounts are such a bad idea and risky, then I'm sure Mr. Moran would agree to relinquish his private retirement funds to government control where they'll be 'safe' and generate a 'guaranteed' return of about 1.8%. Further, he should encourage all of his Democratic brethren to do the same.

"...And the biggest ass-kisser of all is Dick Cheney."

That is the nicest thing the lefties have said about him in years! He must be winning them over.

Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA)? Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA)?
I wonder if this is the same Jim Moran who a few years back fearlessly foiled a carjacking by a six year old with a finger gun.
He has got to be one of the more creditable Democrats in the House.

Dubs Cheney 'A$$ Kisser'

Between this and Reid saying "a big wet kiss" yesterday, I'm beginning to wonder if the Democrats aren't bringing "street ball" to politics.

In my life, I cannot remember such trash talk being used when discussing other members of Congress, especially by MEMBBERS themselves.

Shouldn't Jim Moron be beating up little kids? Where does he find the time for an interview?

"He's surrounded himself with ideological sycophants. And the biggest ass-kisser of all is Dick Cheney."

Well, wait a minute here - I though they said Cheney was the evil genius and Bush was just his puppet?
Sooo, Cheney is really BUSH'S puppet? I'm so confused............

"How do people like this get elected? How do they get people to give them money?"

Keep them ignorant, keep them in fear, pay them off.

Wonder if anyone's posed the question: Mr. Moran, since you're so adamantly against the President Bush's idea on fixing through privatizing the social security system, how do you reconcile your opposition with other members of the Democrat Party in 1998/99 (Reid, Durbin, Dorgan, Conrad, Levin, Rangel, Markey, Nadler, Gephardt, and fmr Pres't Clinton) calling for the social security system fix through privatization? The President is giving your party what it wants.

Couldn't get past more than a few paragraphs. I watched a hearing with SS trustees and they seem to think there is a big problem. It gets where I hate the Dems more every day. What lying, low-down, well - you get the idea. And this guy obviously REALLY hates the Christians. Sore loser!

"I think the Republicans basically resent the poor and they figure if we can get the poor investing the stock market, maybe they'll start thinking like Republicans," Moran said. "God help us."

Moran is a liar and a punk. It is his party which is trying to keep the poor from leaving the democrat plantation. It is his party which needs the poor to think they are too stoopid to tell the democrats to shove it. Send this link ... IRA Calculator to your favorite democrat and ask to plug in their social security "contributions" as their investment.

Have them use a modest interest rate and run it out for their 45 year carreer. It is the democrats who are Stealing that amount of money from them in order to pay them a thousand bucks a month. At least with their own savings, the folks could leave something to their kids.

If more poor folks thought like Republicans, democrats would be in jobs more suited to their skills - "Do you need fries with that sir?"

I get so sick of this "Bush surrounds himself with people who agree with him." LOL, like what president doesn't?? Did Clinton surround himself with people who disagreed with his policies or were conservatives?

Remember Billy Jeff's cabinet marching en masse in front of the cameras to defend him after the articles of impeachment were handed down? Talk about butt kissing!
