It's just such a tired line of attack, one never used against any other president. Of course the assumption by the media and the Dems. is that Bush's policies are so eggregious how could anyone POSSIBLY agree with them and Bush must have to just get a bunch of mindless yes men to agree with him in order to do what he does. It's just such a stupid conceit from a worldview that can't conceive that people actually think differently than Democrats.

As you point out, Clinton's cabinent lining up zombie like to support Clinton wasn't considered a sign by the media or the Dems. that Clinton was surrounded by mindless drones willing to agree to anything Clinton did or proposed. It was seen as a sign of strength and moral indignation at those mean Republicans who would dare think committing multiple felonies as president is somehow an impeachable offense.
