With age comes wisdom; apparently Dame Thatcher sees the socialist handwriting on the wall.

Thanks for the post -- it won't be long before we in the U.S. are saying the same thing. And how many centuries will it be before we get the gumption to throw off the shackles once they are in place?

I've thought for some time that England is committing economic and cultural suicide. Nothing in this article makes me think I'm wrong.

When the great Margaret Thatcher passes on, she'll have the comfort of meeting her great friend Ronald Reagan in heaven, where they will no doubt shake their heads over humankind's lemminglike drive toward totalitarianism.

This quiz posted yesterday really highlights how far gone Britain really is. Sad...

[H]ave you ever heard a novelist express an original political view?

Well, there's Terry Pratchett but I don't suppose he's quite respectable in British academe.

Socialism = Self-induced.. Slavery by government..
The "protection racket" of a Mob.. Democracy is the disease that causes socialism. Socialism is merely a symptom of the disease. Until "democracy" is spoken of while spitting on the ground.. nothing with change.. The United State's Republic which was the ONLY answer to democracy has been compromised and democracy reins supreme.. And "the People" have been brain washed to worship democracy instead trying to CURE IT...

Three words are NOT found in the American Constitution ANYWHERE...
1) democracy..
2) democractic..
3) and democrat... its on PURPOSE, its NOT an accident..
The only CURE is revolution.. NOT democratic elections..
Only vestiges of a FREE REPUBLIC still exist..

Hopefully England and a few other countries won't have to sink to the depths of despair as we saw in Rumania before there is a justified backlash by the population. Violence is the only effective recourse to Marxism.
