Huh... Well, there's still competition from HBO, HGTV, ESPN, ESPN2, Food Network, QVC, HSN, MTV, Comedy Central, Animal Planet, Showtime... LOL
Dubya saying now: "Final question... I don't want to cut into some of these TV shows are are about to air... good for the economy." LOL
What was the cheapshot? I missed it.
LOL, the Pres just told some scumbag reporter who worked Cheneys' name into his question to "Don't take a cheap shot, you're on national TV."
LOL!
Your point?
Yeah....3% GDP is REALLY bad.....let's get some perspective, OKAY? The sky is NOT falling.....
yes, my comment about clinton is quite telling: it indicates that I can differentiate between what a person is saying and how they are saying it - unlike some on here.
W can give a great speech, and can do well at a press conference - tonight is not one of those occasions. Please give me an example of an issue that was brought up tonight where his answer will have convinced anyone that he is right. One. Please. Not gonna happen. He is not "ON" tonight. He can do better, and has done better.
He just said "OK" as he sighed, while holding his left hand up for 3 seconds before saying "Mr. Knox"
and for those that think that Clinton would not make a great used car salesman because of his rhetorical ability - well, you are blinded by your hatred of the man and what he stands for and you do a disservice to yourself and the conservative movement.
Ok - W just made a funny comment about the tv shows that are getting ready to air. His best line of the night. That is telling....
You do realize the original intention of the First Amendment was specifically for political opposition don't you? And questioning our leaders? And as a conservative Republican you would like to see a member of the Armed Forces harm a reporter?!?
I'm watching it live...and I agree ;^D
I'm sorry I don't have a transcript at hand to rebut your accusation but my typist skills are not that advanced. Suffice to say, you are the first person to suggest he did so of the numerous people on this live thread. If that were true, I would believe others would have picked up on it.
Why did no "reporters" ask if we were GETTING A NEW TAX CODE?!?!?!
Also missing budget deficit, trade deficit, Palestine. Pretty important issues ignored by the press.
Wow, ABC is the only network to stick with the President.
Rot in hell, CBS, NBC, and FOX.
Preident "I don;t want your lame questions to screw up prime time" Slap doww complete
Some people don't understand long-term investments.
Me too, MM. Very difficult year and a half, and I'm in my 60's with no spouse. Dig in and keep on keeping on.
Ya know something at least your have one another :>)
Dubya is getting an informative BOATLOAD of information out there. The peanut gallery, I'm sure, does NOT like this. It's making them SEASICK. They were out to SINK him, but Dubya is FLOODING the airwaves, and the landlubbers in attendance, with a plethora of behind-the-scenes, diligent assiduousness of duty and leadership. Dubya is WORKING every minute, not calling girlfriends into The Oval, or selling vital national security information. ;-)
All the networks BAILED!
a "wedgie" is "harming" someone?
