You could have heard my yelling if I had been at that school. I have been against public un -education since the 1970's and will continue to fight it. Home schooling or private schooling is the only answer to our government run schools.

I saw the video, it would be a cold day in H*** when I school superintendent could prevent me or any parent from droping off/pickingup my child from school. that takes a lot of guts to do that.

What's the guy gonna do, put his kid in a parochial or private school instead (sure, work a little OT to pay for it)? "Your tax dollars at work".

Dunno--I was just speculating on what the meaning of "ten seconds" was, and listing the things it would come into my mind to do.

When I was a kid, many many long time ago, kindergarten was not required, and all kindergartens were private. As a result, even in a small town, there was competition, and the threat to yank a kid out directly affected the kindergarten teacher's pocketbook.

Now that kindergarten is required in most (if not all states), and is "public," parents and their wishes don't count for much.

The tresspass is a red herring.

The principle simply refused a demand that a father be told about sexual material his CHILD was being exposed.

The principle did not want to deal with HUNDREDS of parental demands to not have their children exposed to homosexual material. Then the converse of GLSEN demanding children be taught homosexual sex.

If anything, this book will now become the litmus test, are other parents at the school going to send certified mail demand letters?

I bet the public schools will adopt a stigma system of putting an anti-homosexual material letter in the permanent file of all students. Anything to protect the sexual recruiting right of homosexuals at the expense of children.

If the tresspass is a red herring why wasn't he ejected from the school earlier?

Sometimes tresspassing is just tresspassing. There are proper ways to deal with this kind of thing. The laws aren't there just for people who don't agree with us. We feel we are above the law, watch what happens.

Why did the principle refuse such a simple request? Does not Mass. have laws regarding parental consent to sex education?

Why are kindigardners being subjected to sex education?

Homosexuality is only about sex? About a man playing with another man's penis or a woman playing with another womans vagina. There is ZERO reason to expose todlers to such material.

What leg does the principle believe their were going to stand upon? if anything the principle guaranteed a lawsuit. Then again the principle might be a homosexual.

Now all the homosexuals leap out of the closet and declare that orgasms from sexual activity with members of the same sex are nto realllly "sex" subject to parental notification.

Homosexualy behavior does not produce children, they have no say on how children are sexually educated.

Dude, when the meeting was OVER he wouldn't leave.

You just routinely let people who come to your place for business meetings hang around even after the meeting is over? Suuuuure you do.

And the part that says when a meeting doesn't go the way the parent likes, he gets to sit there forever is where, exactly?

Aren't you a little new around here to be "waxing" so eloquently?

The public schools are out of control, lack educational excellence, spend too much money per student, and are graduating children that can barely function in a moralistic society.

You wouldn't happen to have close ties to the public school system would you? Inquiring minds...

Here's the review offered:
We have used this in our Sunday School class and based a Sunday service on the idea that "Families Valued" are not all plain vanilla. An excellent book to validate YOUR family's configuration.

I'd say that his property tax payments entitle him to "lease" that chair for however long he damn well pleases...

Dude, when the meeting was OVER he wouldn't leave.

Well, thats begging for an answer to who decides when the meeting is over, the employee or the employer. Now which is which. IOW's who do the bureaucrats work for?

You just routinely let people who come to your place for business meetings hang around even after the meeting is over? Suuuuure you do.

I own my place and my business and I am the employer. When I tell my employee the meeting is over, it's over. Now the question remains, who do the bureaucrats work for?

But really that's neither here nor there in the long run. If the guy was exercising his right to be civilly disobedient that's fine withme. It has shed light on dogmatic educrats who think the law doesn't apply to them.

Now tell me again, who works for whom in the public education system? Which fellow contributes to the other fellows paycheck?

Incredible. And only four reviews of this book. All of the reviews seem to like it. What is all the controversey? I mean, if the reviews are this favorable, what is up with this man? (Sarcasm)

I was going to ask why, exactly, you posted this, but I guess you folks just want to bitch, so there's no point. The posted article has nothing to do with this, but that doesn't stop people looking to feel victimized. Have a good day.

You were going to ask why I posted the relevant Massachusetts law? Perhaps because the school boards refusal to abide by it ended in the arrest of a fellow citizen by the state.

As for victimhood, it's not my bag. I take lifes up's and down's as they come.

But I'm sorry you're leaving, I was hoping to educate you on the law involved, who employs public educrats and parental rights in general.

Maybe next time.
