Federal officials are reviewing a skit broadcast on the liberal Air America network that featured an apparent gunshot warning to President Bush.
The audio production came during the opening minutes of "The Randi Rhodes Show" Monday night, according to the Drudge Report.
The announcer said: "A spoiled child is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of four gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little bastard. [audio of gun being cocked]."

No harm or real foul. It was just another in a long line of examples of how the Left in this country is cracking the hell up. Yeah, their "humor" is in a substantially more visceral, apparently violent manner than was the Right's jabs and such at Clinton & Company... and a cursory once-over by the Secret Service may be in order, just to show them exactly where some lines get drawn... but overall, Rhodes just showed what a gaping ass he really is and quite possibly what thoughts actually pass through his goofy noggin every so often. Thinking isn't a crime, though.
Air America doesn't need much of a slap from anyone. The market's taking care of them as we chat about it.

My bad for writing Rhodes as a "he". I was thinking of Franken at the time, too. Brain fart.
And as to use of last name, I don't care, and what's up with the all-caps? I've known Rhodes' last name was fake since she showed up in the first place on Air America. That she bemoaned how Jeff Gannon used a pseudonym is par for the course for liberals. I used to have a great list of real names of Lefties. Unfortunately, I don't know where it is now.
Granted, but it is kind of fun to watch them engaging in behaviour they'd demand we get locked up for if we did it.
Makes me think of the look in the eye of a mouthy fifteen-year-old when it dawns on them the rules they are depending on to protect their mouthiness depend on the object of their abuse keeping those rules.
