Would not have believed it unless I heard the tape. Still having trouble. What an idiot. This guy is our Senator! This guy campaigned from such a middle-of-the-road, good ole-boy from a small town position. I guess now we know the road was Araphaoe (running through Bolder).

Curious that we haven't seen this same video up in Denver. Maybe I missed it.

The right wing part of the Repubilcan party & the so-called Christian conservative organizations like Focus on the Family have essentially tried to hijack the American government.

This is not directed only at only Focus on the Family. The attack is much broader than that. The counter-attack should be from the entire right wing base.

Don't you love the "so-called Christian" reference?

Though Salazar is the best of a bad lot, as far as RATs go, he's a perfect example that even the most moderate RAT is still a RAT.

Either Salazar has a substance abuse problem or he had a mental breakdown.

Salazar apparently doesn't understand what an enormous and well-funded political lobby the Focus on the Family "Action" wing is (www.focusaction.org). He won't be able to get a thing done in this state. Local news and papers here are outraged and only the most foaming, clueless lefties will defend his statement.

He won because they ran ads claiming Pete Coors "wants to sell our teenagers beer". Give me a f'ing break. All the people who fell for that, now you have your spokesperson "Pelosi-style".

Headquarters of James Dobson's Focus on the Family: COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO

It's too bad Salazar didn't make these feelings known last October. He would still be home in Colorado if he had.

I guess "moderate" Sen. Salazar can take off his hood now.

Hmm...That Dobson guy is pretty annoying, but the anti-Christ? Geez, just turn off your radio--problem solved, at least for you.

Focus on the Family is located in Colorado, if I'm not mistaken. Ken Salazar is no moderate - he's a flaming liberal. Too bad voters would have a chance to send him packing til 2010.

Salazar according to the reporter said he would vote against the filibuster. If that is true, that is the big news. The rest is just noise.
