The Senate's escalating war over President Bush's judicial nominees has become a fight over the role of religious faith and moral values in the courts.

Don't do this.

This fight over judges is a fight for all Americans against activist liberal justices, This is not just a fight for fundamentalist Christians.

You turn this solely into a Religious right issue, we will lose big time.

It is Pryor himself who is making the "followers of Jesus Christ just (seem as though they are) another special interest group". What he is failing to acknowledge is that we all wear may hats, and those hats overlap. In our POLITICAL lives we may be conservative Republicans, in our BUSINESS lives we may be doctors, teachers,programmer etc., in our personal FAMILY lives we may be moms, dads, aunts, sisters, brothers, etc, and in our SPIRITUAL lives we may be followers of Christ. When I, as a conservative-programmer-mom-Christian take a stand on an issue... the fact that I am a mom does not mean that we moms are "another special interest group", any more than it means we Christians are a "special interest group". And another thing... if he thinks that because we are Christians we need to remain meek and mild and smily-faced about situations we don't agree with, then he has never heard the accounting of how the Christ we follow stormed into the temple courtyard and overturned the tables of the money-changers (a hot political issue of its day).

Christians are the only group its deemed politically correct to single out for discrimination and for deep loathing on the part of Leftist elites.
