That's just because you're thinkin' sekshul. You're thinkin' sekshul.
Which is worse?
I honestly don't think old Abe was light in the loafers, and it isn't out of homophobia. There were certainly historical figures of the day who were - that Walt Whitman feller was queer as a football bat, for one. But I figure if it isn't obvious, maybe it doesn't really matter.
"It's amazing just how many folks turn gay after they've passed on."
It's also amazing how many people vote after they have passed on.
The original "Lincoln was Gay" rumor originated as a simple misunderstanding.
President Lincoln was very much a "man of the people",and, after a hard day's work at the White House,he liked nothing better than to slip away with his friends, and knock down a few beers at one of the city's many watering holes.
Depending on the weather and the distance,he would either walk-or travel to the tavern by coach.
One night, after a hot and gruelling day,Lincoln and his aides crowded out the White House door in search of refreshment.
"How far is The Old Log Inn ?" ,the President called over his shoulder.
Unfortunately, there were members of the Press Corps in the crowd.
Because Buchanan is regarded as a failure, no pressure group wants to claim him.
Homosexual Agenda Ping.
More on "Abe Lincoln was gay". It's so easy to claim that long dead persons were homosexual, the longer dead the better. It's like declaring someone guilty unless proved innocent.
Homosexuals can always claim that a long dead famous person was "gay", and unless there is a video or movie of that person's every moment, there is no defeating their claims. At least in their own minds.
Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.
