I think I might have more remorse if she was a first time mom.

But this is her third. You *feel* how old and developed the baby is when you carry. I don't think naivete works a third time out.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1389973/posts?page=44#44 ... there is a substantial pro-life force at FR and we anticipated the actual reality even before the confirmations hit today. Welcome to FR ... join our pro-life band of warriors.

The workers ignored her cries because they would instantly become liabel due to the 'born alive infants protection act' ... they ignored the woman because they are in the business of serial killing and haven't a clue how to save a premature baby nor do they have ANY desire to save a child.

Once the child was fully born even under our barbaric laws the child had the full rights of a citizen of the United States of America. The workers at this "clinic" should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for not taking action to try to save this little boys life. They should all go to prison.

one needn't be "leftist" to oppose the death penalty.

Signed up yesterday, eh?

So freakin' what? You were a "n00b" once too...

You don't sound like you're very pro-life, n00b.

Where\how do you parse that out of her post? You're being an asshat dude, lighten up...

Where\how do you parse that out of her post?

The mother tried to save the baby....just not perfectly enough or thoroughly for TNiga's taste. A mother who tries to save the baby when she awakens to the truth of what she's doing does not deserve comparison to the abortion profiteer (especially when the abortionist has standing instructions to refuse aid in this kind of situation). The moral distance between this mother and the abortionist is tremendous. Astronomic.

I don't think either of you grasp that, but that's not my fault.

Oh, and I was a n00b a long time ago, when people were justified in wondering if I was a disruptor or not. Save your clever "asshat" bon mots for someone who cares.

"one needn't be "leftist" to oppose the death penalty."

So, if any of you pro-murder Liberals are out there, please explain to me how you justify the taking of an innocent child’s life over the taking of the life of a mass murderer. I wait, patiently.

Let's hear it?

It's threadlines like these that make me wish we could exchange a few hooligans and pot smokers from our jails for the folks who consider the unborn as an expendable inconvenience.

Oh, I agree with that wholeheartedly. AFAIC, she's a casualty of war in this instance. She probably went in there with the whole 9 yards spiel of "lump of flesh", "no sentience", etc... Also, while tragic, her story will end up turning a lot of hearts...

I don't think either of you grasp that, but that's not my fault.

I grasp it easily enough. It was just the sheer pretentiousness you came across with in that post in dealing with someone, who, from posts I've seen on another thread, appears to be genuine FR material and doesn't need immediate chasing off by some old time FRossil (and I mean that in good camraderie).

Oh, and I was a n00b a long time ago, when people were justified in wondering if I was a disruptor or not.

The "n00b's" who count now and are needed might hang around if people treated them with respect, at least until they start actually posting DUish BS and demonstrate otherwise...

Save your clever "asshat" bon mots for someone who cares.

Care or not, it's bons mots, and combining it with clever is redundant...

Here I'll have to differ. Some people only think they're clever. I'm not referring here to you, just generally speaking. Some bon mots are clever, some are painfully hackneyed and awkward.
