Teacher Charged With Molesting Student Nearly 100 Times

COCOA, Fla. -- Hundreds of students and teachers at Endeavour Elementary School in Brevard County are walking on campus Monday for the first time since learning of disturbing allegations against an instructor.
Cocoa police arrested a veteran teacher over the weekend and charged him with molesting a student nearly 100 times.
Daniel Cliatt, 29, is accused of a crime so heinous, for his first appearance deputies dressed him in a bulletproof vest. Wearing the vest with his hands shackled in front of him, Cliatt appeared before a judge for the first time Sunday, when he answered the judge's questions.
Cliatt is accused of raping a 13-year-old repeatedly after school, at school, every day for months.
Cocoa police say the 29-year-old, 360-pound sixth grade teacher started by showing the boy pornography, then moved to sex acts, almost 100 of them. That didn't stop until, police say, another teacher walked into Cliatt's classroom Friday after school.
"At first, she walked in and didn't know what she was seeing. But she ran out and grabbed a supervisor," explained Detective Barbara Matthews, Cocoa Police Department.
Cliatt has been a teacher at Endeavour Elementary School for five years and he's worked there for 10. The school district is already planning a termination hearing.
"We have been very, very cooperative. We've spent a lot of time with the Cocoa Police Department in order to assist them in this investigation," said Sara Stern, Brevard County School District.
Cliatt is a 2000 graduate of Rollins College. He's been at Endeavour Elementary School for 10 years, first as a teacher's assistant, then as a second grade teacher. He most recently taught the sixth grade. Cliatt was in charge of 20 students.
According to the Brevard County School District, Cliatt passed every FBI and FDLE background check.

Nobody is saying all homosexuals molest children, in fact most don't, but a disproportionate number of homosexuals do molest children.

Once again, Florida authorities go the extra mile to protect predators, and do not do a damn thing to protect the innocent.
It's not just the school system, although that's a large part of the downward spiral. We now live in crazyland.

What about pedophiles that molest little girls? I don't think there is a link. Anyone that molests children should get the death penalty.
Are men who are attracted to boys, attracted to grown men? If they are attracted to boys but marry women are those men considered homosexual or just pedophiles?
And notice the header, which says "molested" instead of "raped." A long time ago, when journalism was still practiced, it was axiomatic that a headline should favor the shorter more accurate word. This "reporter" was so eager to downplay the simple truth that he substituted a vague 8-letter 3-syllable word for the accurate 5-letter 1-syllable word.
I agree that a lot of these pedophiles try to intimidate their victims, or possibly just as often try to get their victims to "love" them - I just have to wonder, based on the 100x figure, that this kid was either so beaten down by his life in general that he had no one to whom he felt close enough to cry to, or he became a "Stockholm Syndrome" victim as well.
I just cannot imagine a circumstance where this happened 100x where there wasn't some other major problem involved. Just think about it; if someone threatened your life 100x, wouldn't you do *something* ? Run away, stay home sick from school, something ?
I am NOT blaming the victim; I just think there is a lot left out of the article that might help us understand how something as bad as this could possibly happen to a kid without ANYONE knowing ANYTHING.
They are homosexual pedophiles.
But they are considered oppressed, misunderstood objects of sympathy by the liberal media.
If only they paid him more, this might not have happened.
In the weird world of today's schoolchildren this "teacher" may have been responsible for the curriculum's sex education of his 20 students. When he found one student that he could manipulate, he convinced his victim that he was only "expressing natural feelings."
And about it being "consensual" remember that 13 year old girls are helped to abortions by "compassionate" school counselors who will not inform her parents of her situation.
Schools can be very dangerous places.

He may HAVE missed a lot of school during this time. And become sullen and withdrawn, grades suffered, friends lost. It is hard to understand but these freaks manage to get away with this stuff all the time. They get away with it because children are not too hard to manipulate if that's what you want to do. Jesus said there is a special place in Hell for those who would make them stumble and fall.
That question can only be answered on a case by case basis. In other words, some are and some are not.

Although many would have us believe otherwise, healthy sexuality isn't fluid, but sexuality mixed with a good dose of confusion can create what appears to be fluid sexuality. That is, with a confused or mentally sick person, somebody can engage in any sexual behavior and be labeled for that behavior. The issues are really quite complicated. Much more than most people realize.
