PETA loses fight against 'Happy Cows'

A leading animal-rights group has lost its court fight to pull the California milk industry's popular "Happy Cows" television spots over accusations of false advertising. The California Supreme Court refused Wednesday to review an appeal brought by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which sued to stop the national advertising campaign featuring the talking, laid-back cows and their tag line, "Great Cheese Comes From Happy Cows. Happy Cows Come From California."

I had a friend who had several cows. Most were beef cows, but one was a dairy cow she called, "Dairy Queen".

So I asked her if the beef steer in the barn was called "Burger King".

She didn't think it was funny. LOL.

PETA has the wrong target.
They ought to go after Emeril.

That's right, the FoodNetwork chef.

...They'd have to get past the armed guards first. Or better yet, Emeril might come after them with one of his Ginsu knives.

The cows I've seen in Florida look pretty happy to me.

that's because they know their deaths will serve a good freaking purpose.

How about content? When they're content, they give milk freely. If something is disturbing them, they won't.
