Sounds like folks who have too much time on their handsEither that, or they need a reason to justify their needless jobs.....

What are they going to do about the construction workers in Germany who's union worked so hard to get them 4 fifteen minute beer breaks for each work day?

Well, anyone who becomes an alcoholic on light beer never had a chance in life, anyway.

The beer breaks were scuttled at AB either 2 or 3 contracts ago.

Aint that the truth.
I have a brother who works for BellSouth. He's been there 12 yrs. No one in the family can figure out what he does. You ask him and 10 minutes later your more confused than when you asked.

The commercial trys to make it seem that unacceptable, social behavior is acceptable and it has an effect on the culture.
To: discostu
Really?
So to you lying is a mature behavior? How about cheating and stealing? Those pass muster with you too?
To: fella
But they are not LYING about it!
To: SaveTheChief; LauraleeBraswell
I can't believe you would be so insensitive as to say these things. Your post is probably the most offensive I have ever read here. In fact, I'm offended! How dare you find that sweet little girl offensive. I'm offended.

Don't need to lie, just wait until the boss in on vacation, or just blow out without even making an excuse; see when you get smart you realize you don't need to lie to leave work early to hoist a couple you can just leave work early and hoist a couple.

There is only one question you need to answer at the time:
Are you in the bar drinking when you yourself know and God knows you should be at work?
Yes or no.
To: Run Silent Run Deep
Define "should be at work". I'm on salary, I get paid to get the job done on time and on quality. Have I been at a bar drinking during my normal work schedule without the boss knowing why I'm not at my desk (or possibly even without the boss knowing I'm not at my desk)? Hell yes. Have I missed a deadline or allowed product quality to suffer so I could hoist some in a bar? Absolutely not.

Then what I said would not apply to you would it? The commercial portrays a different reality.
To: Run Silent Run Deep
The commercial doesn't portray any reality, it's just a TV commercial.
