Eye-opening picture, Travis! It makes one realize that there's a HUGE loss of credibility way up at the top of our gubmint.

Yep, huge. But now the average American is beginning to see the truth about our unguarded border, and our president's dereliction of duty. Largely due to the MMP.

U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 8 Clause 15:
"The Congress shall have Power to provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections
and repel Invasions;"
U.S. Constitution Article 4 Section 4:"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"

what i want to know is what exactly our government is getting from mexico in exchange for allowing the illegals to cross pretty much unchallenged into our country?
There has to be something and it has to be pretty important because there is no way that our government has been doing its best. There is no way that our government couldn't have noticed that the vast majority of americans want the border sealed.(so they are willing to risk not being reelected)
They are willing to do nothing when border patrol officers are being killed.
Post 9/11 and over 10,000 (other than mexican) illegals sneaking in at border a week and the gov. still does nothing.
pres of mexico puts out pamphlets on how to sneak into u.s.a. and our gov. says nothing???
mexican military escorts illegals to the best routes to enter u.s.a and gov. doesn't do anything?
whatever deal has been made between the two governments happened many years ago, it is bipartisan and it is still in effect........what is it?

Lessee...this here unrepentant Southerner got him a AR-15 pre-ban and a .357 Ruger 5-shot that also handles .38 and +P. Looking for just the right custom .45 Auto system (the option choices are just discombobulating). I have to be concerned about how much ammo stocked constitutes an explosive hazard.
Good thing our government is far more concerned with citizens like myself than lawless rednecks and aliens running meth labs...

Finally, a positive and honest story about the Minutemen. They have been slandered and misdescribed from the President (pathetically) on down. But they have done good work, and proved a point.
Sometimes in this nation, it is the people who lead, and the leaders who follow. So it is in this event. Click below for a solution to the border crisis which the efforts of the Minutemen have just proved, might work.

President Bush has already signed a resolution into law to become Public Law authorizing former police officers nationwide right to carry. This was The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2003, which in 2004 became Public Law 108-277. This is important, since these individuals are no longer police officers, but private citizens now. In essence, President Bush didnt sign a bill to put more officers on the street he signed a bill that put more armed private citizens on the street. In this same spirit, constituents have the right to such immediate self-defense, too. And it works across the country. The Second Ammendment has been doing this since it's inception (among other things) I just don't understand WHAT the gungrabbers don't understand about the wording of the 2A.

"Let me be blunt, too: officials who oppose the Project's goals and individuals who denigrate the efforts of the individuals who make up the Minuteman Project forget who the true authority is. These conscienceless objectors (thats right; conscience-less) defy authority only until they can summon it, and in between, they harangue and obstruct the mission. "
