"We have no allies."
John Kerrey said that the foreign leaders he's always running into told him that, so it must be true. I mean he wouldn't lie about a thing like that....would he?

They never leave you ya know? :) No, they don't.
I think about my Daddy everyday, he is was, and is still is a big part of my life. He was such an influence in my life, a friend as well as a parent. And he was the best Grandpa my kids could have asked for, and they loved him dearly, as he loved them.
I am striving to live my life honoring his memory.
I try to reconcile my loss with the fact that he lived a good, long life (he was 78), but yet it was way too soon for me to lose him.
I know in my heart he is in a much better place now, and his suffering is over.
I often (selfishly, I guess) just wish I could just have 5 more minutes with him....although I feel I expressed to him before his passing just how much he meant to me. But I would still give almost anything to have just 5 more minutes.......

"Yer not very talkative tonight Drumbo"
I'm sorry FRiend.
I started posting tunes earlier today and then went to help my mom celebrate her 85th birthday. Mrs. Drumbo and I then went out tonight to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary (yesterday). It's been hectic and Saturday just got away from me. I'm HTML challenged so it takes me awhile to get the previews right.
I had some good tunes to share this week fer sure and I'm rushing midnight so as not to turn into a pumpkin if I break the rules and post past witching hour - but then again, I don't know who the time police are anyway or whether they are on Eastern Standard any-old-how. ...
Here's Duane, Dicky, Butch and Greg live unplugged before unplugged was cool (aka what happens when neither drummer shows up)!

She sure is....she's driven for several different companies, and just hasn't found the really right one. This one is something special so far.
