Lessons learned?
Mexican carry in the waistband is no substitute for a good holster.
Grabbing for a falling gun is a bad idea if the safety is off, or if it's a Glock.

Glocks will not "go off" when dropped....even with a round in the chamber.

Was it a Glock fotie? That only cops and DEA agents are professional enough to handle?

A police officer from the greater Cincinnati area was attending to some court business (not in uniform) went to the bathroom and lost his weapon in the process. Apparently fell out of the holster while he was in one of the stalls. Noticed it was missing a short time later ... but it was gone by then. The weapon is still missing ... this incident occurred three weeks ago. Further point of interest, the officer who lost his weapon is the same police officer who killed a black youngster (a few years ago) during a foot chase thru a dark alley ... which, in turn, sparked the Cincinnati race riot.
