Camilo Mejia spoke out against serving in a war he calls "a corporate war for oil."

I'm still waiting for the 'oil windfall' that was supposed to be the primary objective of this war, according to liberals.

As far as a this spineless Nicaraguan communist goes, if you don't want to fight for this country, then do us all a favor AND GET THE HELL OUT.

This guy is a zero. His take on the Iraq War is nothing more than leftist trash. Look at his background and connect the dots and you will see he is pushing an agenda were the USA can do no right. He is a commie and has been since he was a child. Pay no attention to this fool.

I worked for a company called ATEX which made the computers than ran newspapers. One of our customers was La Prensa in Nicuagua which was run by Ortega's wife. When that Sandinistas took control the first thing they did was shut it down. When others on the staff asked where opposing views would be published she told them "there won't be any".

Actually, La Prenza was owned by the Chamorro family who at first supported the Revolution but then grew to oppose not the Revolution but the FSLN. The Paper was closed by the government once the Contra War began.

In 1991 V. Chamorro whose husband was killed by Somoza was elected President in an election organized and ran by the Anti Democratic Sandinistas.

Left to their own devices Sandinistas would never hold an election. They were pushed to doing this by the COntras and US. Communists nevr hold free elections of their own accord.
