Halliburton pays us $5,000 per troll scalp.
Looking above at 141, looks like pug became some experiment in Doctor Science' laboratory.
Where's our share, oh Honorable Admin Mod?
So far she hasn't really apologized. She's given only the Liberal mealy-mouth apology, "I'm sorry if anyone was offended by what I did." She's never said "I"m sorry for what I did."
I survived, but I lost too many buddies over there to settle for a namby-pamby apology from Hanoi Jane.
Goes into the forum slush fund for spare parts and such.
That and I think they calculated the cost per zot breakdown, and one troll scalp will pay for two zots.
So... are you a reincarnation of the three trolls we just zotted, or are you fresh meat?
Wow. That was fast. I guess the mods have decided to take up "speed-zotting."
Hi, Darks! Trolls are keeping me busy today. How am I supposed to do laundry and clean the kitchen when I have to keep coming back to the computer?
I know!
At least what's his face "Pervert/buttsex#1-5" didn't come back as far as I know.
THAT guy was getting annoying.
Annoying enough for legal action.
I hereby donate my $5K to the Free Republic bank account!
I am soooooo very pleased that a post of mine served as bait for a troll. Gotta flush the critters into the open. Be gone, vile pustule on the buttocks of mankind.
Good job!
But at Haliburton rates of $5k/Zot, fourteen Zots per month would eradicate all Freepathons.
Yes, but the Zots are a seperate function, an expense on their own.
The cost of Ole Sparky, and the voltage to run it varies.
Sometimes the rough breakdown isn't accurate.
*sigh*
Not to mention replenishing the Zot Nuke stockpile.
*erk*
I just posted an anti Jane Fonda shirt on ebay. I couldn't help myself....
Spitting on someone is not commiting violence. Would you condone spitting, at the time, on Ethel Rosenberg, Hitler, or Saddam today? Fonda is a traitor who gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
Spitting is a mild rebuke. Lord Haw-Haw was executed and Tokyo Rose was convicted of treason. For those of us who personally recall vividly what Fonda did, she is getting off easy. The MSM have been putting her on the airways incessantly during this publicity blitz for her book. Unfortunately, too many Americans are unaware of what she did and now must listen to her revisionist history.
If you want to know what Fonda did that has all of us Vietnam veterans exercised, read the Holzers' "Aid and Comfort", which makes a compelling case for treason. Fonda was on the Maher show the other evening and stated again that does not apologize for going to North Vietnam. She gave radio broadcasts on behalf of the communists. The hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese boat people and millions more that were placed in reeducation camps or fled the country are Fonda's and the Left's real legacy along with the repressive Communist regime that governs Vietnam today.
Please don't lecture us on how Fonda should be treated, especially equating spitting on somone as violence.
North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam and imposed a Communist dictatorship, which still exists today. What we did in Vietnam was far more moral than what the Communists did and are still doing today.
Vietnam was part of our containment policy. Ultimately, that policy worked with the fall of the Soviet Union and the liberation of Eastern Europe. The sacrifice that we made in Vietnam demonstrated our resolve. Unfortunately, Fonda, Kerry, Cronkite, et. al., defeated us at home, which the Communists could not do on the battlefield. Is Vietnam better off under Communism?
By your comments, you probably are not old enough to remember what Fonda did or you are not a veteran of that war. Save your pontificating for the uninformed.
Spitting has been used around the globe and throughout history to express disdain and contempt. It is even in the bible:
Yeshua our kinsman-redeemer was subjected to the humiliation of being beaten and spat upon by those who mockingly said to him "prophesy to us Messiah, who hit you?" The people were awaiting a Messiah whom they thought would redeem them from Roman oppression, not from their slavery to sin. He was treated with the gesture of contempt reserved for one who was unwilling to redeem.(Ph. 2:7-8).
Jane Fonda evokes visceral reactions from many of us, who recall vividly what she did during the Vietnam era. If you understand the emotional aspect of this, you will understand why many of us are not upset by the rather innocuous gesture of spitting on someone whom we consider to be a traitor.
In case you don't recall that war was LOST. The American
troops fought bravely and should be honored and appreciated
for their sacrifices. But the fact remains that by the
late 60's the VAST majority of Americans were opposed to
it. So much so that liberal Lyndon chose not to run for
reelection because that war and the lies he told the
American people about it -- would result in his defeat.
You may feel that 58,000 troops were worth the sacrifice
but those are the historical facts. No I didn't serve in
VietNam. But I didn't serve in the Civil War either --
but I know alot more about it than many who did. That's
the advantage of historical hindsight!
