Monday's episode was the best in years! The Oval Office scenes illustrated what the ACLU-types who gladly aid and abet people who want to destroy the country and kill millions never address: Unlike the likes of them, the POTUS doesn't have the luxury of doing nothing.

I was hoping that Jack Bauer would just clock the lawyer from "Amnesty Global."

Sounds like half the lefties on the show were doing what they always do. Acting.

I love '24'. I also am a dittohead. But if "24"s honchos are Rush fans, the cast of players better be on the right side of the adoration towards Rush or else. It is the Hollyweird way.

I think Rush was just so overjoyed at pleasant faces greeting him, and a set of 50lb boobs playing with his brain, (Which half is always tied behind his back), he lost his unbiased opinion, momentarily. :-)

Jack Bauer is THE man. He takes no prisoners.

I missed the first season. Then I watched the first episode of one of the year's and Jack shot and killed a guy he was questioning, FIRST episode!!
I was hooked.

I know Keifer is a major lefty.

I'm going to need to see some sort of proof of that.

Kiefer's a hard guy to read. Most of his characters are unrelentingly dark figures, and his personal life is mostly undercover, with occasional gossip items about all-night cavorting. He was dumped by Julia Roberts days before their scheduled nuptials. He's better off. She's a flake.

One of Sutherland's best pals is Denis Leary, whose standup act is like Dennis Miller on crank. Leary is not a big lefty, although he is tight with John Kerry, who is a booster of his foundation for firefighters' families.

I'm with you. It's the only way to go. Unfortunately, I'm SO hooked on "The Shield" that I could not wait until next year to get the boxed set.

I think FX and Fox need to do a crossover where Vic Mackey visits Jack.

This is a good show I would much rather have the dvd's without the commercials.

Yes, but from the previews it looks like they're going to make him pay for it.

Maybe so but from what Rush said there IS going to be another season and so Jack will be back!!!!!!

Cool! Thanks for this thread, silent_jonny. My husband and I may be nitpickers regarding some of the details of "24", but we're still watching... ;o)

I love Rush and he is one of my heros, but I hope this doesn't turn out to be an ESPN thing.

I hope these guys from 24 are really sincere and are in fact dittoheads and not wining and dining Rush to promote the show on air. I know he is smarter than that, but he really sounded star struck today.

I know Keifer is a major lefty.

I heard that too but I can't recall him bad-mouthing Dubya or going over the top for JFn'.

What is with this conservative "obsession" with 24?

I wasn't aware of a conservative "obsession". I just watch the show because it's good, not for political commentary.

Are you confusing Keifer with his father Donald? The character he plays is quite a conservative guy and he's not wishy washy about what has to be done to keep the country safe. Jack Bauer is a man after my own heart, who isn't afraid to do the right thing even when its not the politically correct thing to do.

I know Keifer is a major lefty.

That's what kept me from watching the first season.

When American muslims started protesting each week's episode and whining about islam being "disrespected", it made me a fan for life.

I love the show. The twists and turns are amazing. And we haven't seen the last of Habib Marwan, whose terrorist cells radiate well beyond California. Let's hope Jack can stop World War III.

I'm still waiting to see if they bring back SecDef Heller's son--the long-haired, maggot-infested DUmmie :)
