Well, it only took one Guinness to get my optimism back. I don't think it is over. I think we are going to have a rough two weeks though. I hope Bolton has the stones to deal with what is coming.
Chaffee cannot bail on us alone because he is up for election and the RNC wont support him with money if he caves alone. We may have to find out what Hagel wants so he doesn't give Chaffee cover.
The bottom line, is that we got our asses kicked today and it feels awful. But I cant give up yet. That doesn't mean I have to give the bastards a dime, though.

PD, to "not give up," you have to have something to work with; the spineless GOP isn't doing their share.

Good thinking, and go look at your fish for something really upbeat and positive. I look at my Grapefruit tree that was barren for 5 years and is now kicking butt. The sun is shining, screw those dirty dems. Life is still good. We must be patient.

Took me a while to get over that loss last night. Felt like having your basketball team up by two with the ball with 10 seconds left. They turn the ball over and the opponent hits a last second three to win.
I will keep your optimism, but I am pissed as hell at Voinovich. He is one of my Senators.
