Just another load of BS smoke and mirrors on the part of the IRS.
Remember a year or so ago, when a guy went on a hunger strike regarding the tax code and the IRS agreed to meet with him but then cancelled because they only wanted him to end his hunger strike?

Federal advisory panels have some pretty good track records in many agencies. Not sure how it has been working or would work with IRS. They do have visibility and an agency must work with them and respond to their recommendations. I worked with some advisory panels and they can be effective. They are usually made up of knowledgeable civilians from each major interest group, depending on the agency.

The panel provides a forum for citizens from each state to make suggestions regarding IRS decision making. Whaaaa-a-a-a-at? Hahahahahaha. This is HILarious.

will listen to this panel.

The IRS isn't the problem. The problem is Congress, which has created the incomprehensible tax code. It is that code's complexity which gives bad IRS agents the ability to abuse people. There are bad people in every organization. Congress is the problem.
