I have an aunt who was about as skinny as Ann. She ate normal amounts and wanted to gain weight, but didn't until after she passed fifty, and now is about average in weight.

I like the one where she's sitting at the ski resort with a nice cup of suds in her hand.

She has a great smile in that picture.

That would be, from www.anncoulter.org:

That is the most freaky picture of Ann Coulter I've seen.

I agree Nat.

You may rest assured that the Time eds discarded scores of more realistic (thus more flattering) images of Ann in order to select this one.

I'm certain that the text will be a hatchet job as well.

(I am also certain that I'll buy it.)

"You're on to something there. Think about it. How many of us haven't picked up a Time magazine in years. I'll buy it just to read the article about her."

The LSM might finally be realizing that in order to sell paper and make money they need the other 60% of people in this country.

If I am not mistaken that chair she is sitting on is a famous design (I think "barcelona chair").
You are not mistaken. :o)

Well it is not that I have a fan fave writer but if I come across anything that explains an issue or offers a solution - that's the ticket. Now all Ann does in my estimation is attack the otherside. I skip it. Now if she attacked and then offered a solution that would be innovative. No one is doing that now in punditry.

I have heard that too. They think she is way over the top... which, of course she is if you are used to listening to the MSM pablum... they will learn, oh yes.

The outfit is odd (black dress + weird heels + white stockings = witch) and the photograph seems to intentionally cultivate an evil or zombie-like appearance by having her hunch over... those slender calves of hers seem to go all the way up to her chin.

They'll never know the millions of profit they missed out on by not featuring a front cover of her in a bikini...

Joe McCarty was right, and she proves it in her book TREASON.

Leadpenny: "The Weekly Standard" has a pic of Ward Churchill on their cover."

Beyond: "Was it a story about mental wards?"

LOL. :-)

"Joe McCarty was right, and she proves it in her book TREASON."

Joe McCarthy used to wave around his list of how many ever names he supposedly had of communists at the State Department. Turns out there were some communists at State (like Hiss). McCarthy wasn't right, he lucked up. Then McCarthy accused the Army of being full of communists. The Army then ate his lunch. I've read Ann's book - it sucks. The only thing that book convinced me of is that Ann should be shoved back in her attic with the other crazy spinster aunts.

Frankly, the majority of Americans (including myself in this case) see McCarthy as a lying, self-aggrandizing drunk. All Ann is going to do is associate Joe with the Republicans and lose us votes. For what? A failed attempt at rehabilitating a loser like McCarthy? Whatever.

"She doesn't have the enlarged parotids of a bullimic."

Bullemic or not, if Ann had some more meat on her bones she would at least be attractive.

I'm not sure they have the ability to realize that. I don't know how magazine advertising rates are set, but if it's anything like television, this might be the equivalent of "Sweeps Week."

About Ann's cover pic...

I think it's absolutely brilliant, in a stupid Time Magazine trying to demean her sort of backfire kind of way. Ann looks serious, leggy in a sexy way, young, hip, powerful and relaxed.

She's wearing an absolutely feminine POWER suit that any female lawyer would want to wear but wouldn't because... well they don't have the body Ann has.

Beautiful Female Conservatives rule and define the new era. You go girl!!!

We will be seeing copy cat fashion soon. Right down to the pointy shoes and the white silk stockings. Ann isn't a trend setter, she's a trend.

Quietly, across America liberals are given their final orders from Howard Dean to drink the final cup of Kool-Aid, believing the end is near. lol

Yup. Put another 30 lbs on her and she'd probably look good.

Right now she just looks anorexic.
