"Joe McCarty was right, and she proves it in her book TREASON."

Joe McCarthy used to wave around his list of how many ever names he supposedly had of communists at the State Department. Turns out there were some communists at State (like Hiss). McCarthy wasn't right, he lucked up. Then McCarthy accused the Army of being full of communists. The Army then ate his lunch. I've read Ann's book - it sucks. The only thing that book convinced me of is that Ann should be shoved back in her attic with the other crazy spinster aunts.

Frankly, the majority of Americans (including myself in this case) see McCarthy as a lying, self-aggrandizing drunk. All Ann is going to do is associate Joe with the Republicans and lose us votes. For what? A failed attempt at rehabilitating a loser like McCarthy? Whatever.
