Rita Cosby on 10th Anniversary of OKC bombing - LIVE ON AIR NOW.
Is Pete Lance going to be on?
Take good notes. Sports night for me. Red Sox v. Tampa. Rita's voice makes me breathless.
Oh like I'm sure my husband is going to give up the show he's watching "hero"...so I can watch Fox NEws. Besides it was heartbreaking then, and double that now!
Actually this is just a teaser segment, for the real expose, Rita is having tomorrow, Sunday at 9 pm EST.
Right. Just saw that. Also, she had Kathy Wilburn on, who maintains a website at http://www.afteroklahomacity.com
Vice President Cheney is coming to OKC for the 10th Anniversary along with former Governor Keating. Unfortunately so is Bill Clinton thanks to our Dem Governor Henry -- hope the ceremony is in the afternoon because the OK Dim Governor sleeps in every morning.
Everytime a Clinton comes to OK we get more Republicans registered!
I have never doubted the Middle Eastern men were behind this Bombing. I can still remember the reports that went out to be on the lookout for two Middle Eastern men that night of the bombing and then it just disappeared off the radar screen.

It sure did. Remember they hauled in a ME guy...I remember the local media camped out in front of the guy's house. Apparently that individual was cleared. But it was just plain weird how anything to do with a ME connection to the bombing just vaporized--never any explanations...like none of it had ever happened. It was like a gag order had gone out. I've always suspected that the WH squelched it, that the WH could not risk any comparisons to Carter or to the first bombing of the WTC. I may be way off base w/ this, but I was suspicious then & I'm still suspicious.
Exactly. You've got it right. I am suddenly reminded of what Gail Sheehy said in her book about the Clintons. She wrote, "Bill Clinton wasn't serious!
He never WAS serious. Killery-the-Killster is the one who is serious. He was just having a ball (excuse the almost pun) in the Oval Office, with his Cuban cigars. Killery is the serious one. I'm sure that she moved quickly to squelch all indications that we had terrorists in our midst.
This was the same reason for which no administration has ever admitted to the reality of UFOs. It's the same thinking. The government doesn't want the American people to know that they are NOT being protected - that there are forces at work which they, the gov't, can't get a handle on; can't control; can't deal with. That's what the Clintons were thinking, when they let all of the blame fall upon McVeigh and Nichols. It was a "stop the bleeding NOW" strategy.............and "let the next administration deal with the implications and the realities of terrorism on American soil."
Can't stand her, she should be on Oprah or anywhere else but FNC.
she's actually a pretty nice person. I remember I happened to meet her in a bar in Chapel Hill in 1986. She said at the time she wanted to have Barbara Wawa's job at 20/20.
A lot of stupid people are nice. I watched this bubble headed beach blond (Rita Cosby) interview 2 brothers who stayed at that creeps place and it was nauseating. Rita and Geraldo are the only credibility gaps on FOX News.
I'd toss in Greta van Pesteren also. Her "just-off-the-Wisconsin-turnip wagon" voice is impossible to take for very long. I can last about 25 minutes into van Pesteren's show, and then I have to shut her down. She's not polished, not professional, talks out of the right side of her mouth, has a lower jaw that clamps down like a steel trap the instant that she has delivered a sentence, asks truly dumb-dumb questions..........like "Were the bullet holes in the door frames of the couple who were abducted with their little boy recent bullet holes?........or were they old bullet holes?
....and her "panel of experts" (like Jayne Weintraub) keep telling her what a brilliant lawyer she is. She's not a lawyer any longer. She's a Fox misfit who needs diction and elocution lessons for starters.
As for Rita, I call her "the fat rabbit." Doesn't she look just like an animated, breathless fat rabbit in a cabbage patch?.......like that character in some Disney film who kept saying, "I'm late, I'm late for a very important date..........."
LOL!! Very good!
