If this guy were a real terrorist, he would have skied the instant he was informed he was being investigated.

I have no doubt he's running a marraige scam, and that is one area that needs to be shut down post haste. My brother in law has a friend that married a Morrocan woman who has turned out to be certifiably insane. He filed for divorce a couple of years ago, and promptly received a 'visit' from her 'brothers' who kicked the living hell out of him.

Needless to say, this guy dropped the divorce.

I'm not all that concerned about the weapons and the passports. Mrs. L has a couple of expired passports laying around. I'm pretty sure my old one is around here somewhere.

If he does have a felony record, he shouldn't have the firearms; other than that it's a pretty pathetic little 'collection' if you ask me.

As far as the cash goes, that's no crime at all. Clan Lurker has a bit of emergency green locked up in our safe, along with our weapons, passports, birth certs, and other important papers.

Don't get me wrong, if this guy is indeed running a fake marraige ring I hope they convict him and slam his ass into prison for a long time.

However, I'm not going to sing the praises of the FBI just yet. They have too much of a history of being absolutely incompetent as far as I'm concerned.

I suppose we're lucky it wasn't the Boston office that was running this 'investigation'. They would have turned the guy into a CI and let him murder 6 or 8 people while convicting an innocent man for it.

Just my two red cents.

Agree on all points 100%....... I read from this he's a immigration by marriage agent for syria and for that and what ever else he may have attached to that little program needs to go to jail.

Check out the Whitey Bulgar case.

The Boston Office of the FBI knowingly convicted an innocent man of murder while letting one of their 'CI's go on a 10 year murder spree.

Before that, there was the Miami office who thought it was a good idea to engage to bank robbers in a gunfight in a residential area. The only problem was their backup was tag-teaming a waitress while their partners were busy dealing with the age old problem of bringing pistols to a rifle fight.

Between those two incidents there was the matter of the 18 year old Eagle Scout some FBI SA shot in the face with an M-16. The kid was actually complying with his orders when he pulled the trigger.

Oh, and we can't forget the Horiuchi Incident. He's the FBI 'sniper' who shot an innocent woman through the head for the crime of holding her baby. He said he was 'following orders'.

If you want to get into a Federal LE Agency, try the US Marshalls. They are arguably the least f***** up Agency although it's full of rampant nepotism.

By all means steer completely clear of F-Troop and the DEA. From personal experience I can tell you that those clowns are barely competent to drive cars let alone carry firearms.

I've worked with all the above agencies in a previous life. The only guys I had any real respect for were the US Marshalls.

Apply. They need good men.

There has been a history of the politicalization of the agency, and much like the rest of federal employees, only much worse, the FBI has embraced "diversity." Diversity is another way of saying anti-white, anti-male.

Add that to the PC edicts that make it difficult to investigate the islamic threat and you have a frustrated agency hamstrung by its own PC shackles.

Apply and let me know how the polygraph goes. By the way, they always run through the questions first, then wire you up, ask the questions, then they leave the room and watch you to see if you act uncomfortable. Then they come back, mumble something about having to clear up some issue on the results and then see if you will admit to anything else. They ALWAYS do this. Always.

Go into it with a clear mind, talk and when you are sitting and waiting for the results, relax, close your eyes and nap if you can.

Don't be worried or concerned about the second tun through. They are just testing you.

Good luck and let us know how things go.

It seems like things have also happened in Memphis. My friend is a nursery school teacher and an arabic child was in her class. This family was pretty nice and friendly to everyone but did not speak english well. They showed up at neighborhood gatherings with a video cam taking pictures of everyone. They didn't participate, eat, or talk with anyone. Just kept smiling and taking pictures. A few days before 9-11, she called them about the first day of school. They said that something had happened and they had to move out of the country very soon. She told them that their son's belongings (nap mat, blanket, stuffed animal, etc....) were still at the school and asked when they wanted to pick them up. They said to keep it or throw it away but they didn't have time to pick it up. She thought that was strange for parents to not care about their child's naptime favorites. Then 9-11 happened and neighbors told her that this family left alot of their belongings behind when they quickly moved out of the country. She reported this to the hotline number for suspicious activities. But no one ever called her back. Then the doctor who was an expert on contagious diseases was in Memphis for a conference, and one night after dinner, he just jumped into the Mississippi. The Flyer also did a story on this suicide/accidental death and the strange deaths of other experts all over the world.
