CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) -- A judge has ordered state officials to release summaries of their investigations into the treatment of Terri Schiavo, the severely brain-damaged woman who died last month after her feeding tube was removed.

Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer gave the state Department of Children and Families until Monday to release the records on dozens of investigations into complaints that Schiavo was mistreated. None of the allegations were substantiated

That sounds like grounds for a PET scan to have been performed. Without seeing the results a of PET scan, how can citizens know and adequately evaluate the actions of Greer's court?

Is this decision separate from the news media's case to have all the records released? I thought that the media's case had been denied shortly after Terri died.

Under new federal legislation, HIPPA, the documents could not be released until after her death because Terri had a right to medical privacy. Now there's some irony for you. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.
