I believe that. Duh. I love your poetry, of course it should be published. Can I get an autographed copy?

COAST GUARD RECOGNIZED FOR THE OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AID AWARD

SEATTLE - The 13th Coast Guard District’s Commercial Fishing Vessel Safety Office will receive the outstanding Performance Aid Award, Friday, in the field of human performance technology.

The award is being presented by the International Society of Performance Improvement at the 43rd Annual International Performance Improvement Conference at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Commercial Fishing Vessel Safety Office is being recognized for creating a software program used with handheld personnel digital assistants to significantly enhance the Coast Guard’s commercial fishing vessel boarding process. Regulatory enforcement data quality has been substantially improved since converting from paper documents to handheld devices. Use of the handheld devise also increases boarding efficiency which allows the boarding of the vessel to be done in a timelier manner.

Coast Guardsmen now use handheld devices to provide the vessel’s specific checklist and boarding forms to apply all specific regulations based on a vessel’s dynamics such as its location and operating parameters, among others.

The 13th Coast Guard District encompasses the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

###

The U.S. Coast Guard is a military, maritime, multi-mission service within the
Department of Homeland Security dedicated to protecting the safety and security of America.

How are you? My young daughter, just off to sleep. I'm nervous though. My husband is away and my 17 year old son is out with friends. Oh, why do I still think of him as a baby? LOL, :)

I'll send it off for tests.

That's great to hear! My daughter is ahead too. Thank goodness. It was tough with my son. I told you the tougher days. :) And he's doing great now!

I think some teachers are boring the kids.LOL! I'm not kidding. Many teachers, we have had that are terrific, never made a negative comment about my kids but the one's that were so-so, well, they complained. Maybe there's something to that. :) Our kids may be bored for good reason. :)
