If there is an e-bomb; there must be an anti-e-bomb technology in the works somewhere -- hopefully.

It takes a Faraday cage (with no holes) to provide absolute protection from EMP. It is simply impossible to wrap everything in such a layer of protection. You may want to identify a few treasured electronics items and wrap them in aluminum foil. You'll have something left...as long as you have access to some batteries or a solar panel. The electric power system may be down a long time.
