I posted the "bird flu deaths in China" article over at the avian flu thread. Thanks for finding the article. The news from China regarding this has been inconsistent, much like the Marburg news out of Angola.

Guess we'll be well covered in those areas if nothing else.
I wonder if any of these would be used. The standard Hezbollah flag, although I've seen it with a green, red, black and yellow background. I'm not sure if the backgroud color matters

Sorry for the rambling. I guess curiosity got the best of me. Anyone have any ideas?
I agree.
WASHINGTON When Los Angeles County Sheriffs Lt. John Stedman was booking a clothing store owner last year on charges of selling counterfeit high-fashion merchandise, his attention was drawn to the large and colorful tattoo on the mans arm.
The tattoo included Arabic writing, suggesting it wasnt a gang symbol or the mark of one of the many organized crime syndicates that have helped make dealing in knock-off goods like Gucci handbags, Prada shoes and Louis Vuitton watches a multibillion-dollar industry in the United States.
It turned out to be a symbol of allegiance to Hezbollah, the Islamic militant organization that the U.S. government has designated as a terrorist group.
The case of the tattooed merchant was just one of several in southern California where alleged Hezbollah operatives have been caught trafficking in counterfeit merchandise, Stedman and other experts told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday.
Among those involved, Stedman and other authorities say, are members of Russian, Eurasian, Asian and Lebanese organized crime cells and, more recently, traditional street gang members.
The profits are enormous, with minimal criminal exposure, Stedman said. In the parlance of one suspect: Its better than the dope business no ones going to prison for DVDs.
Stedman and other witnesses at Wednesdays hearing said that they could not identify the tattooed merchant or other suspects because of ongoing investigations.
In another case, Stedman said, he came across small Hezbollah flags displayed in one suspects bedroom during a search of a residence for counterfeit goods.
Next to the flags was a photograph of Hassan Nasrallah, Stedman said, referring to the Hezbollah leader.
During another search in 2004, Stedman said, detectives found a photo album that pictured dozens of attendees at a fund-raising event for the Holy Land Foundation, which has been shut down by the Treasury Department over its alleged support of Hamas, another political entity that the United States considers to be a terrorist group.
In another case, U.S. Customs officers stopped a Lebanon-bound suspect at Los Angeles International Airport and found she was carrying more than $230,000 in cash, Stedman said. Authorities later learned the woman owned a chain of cigarette shops, and seized more than 1,000 cartons of bootleg cigarettes, another $70,000 in cash and wire transfers to banks throughout the world, Stedman said.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) The United States closed its embassy and all other diplomatic offices in Indonesia Thursday (today), citing a security threat.
The decision comes a week after Australia urged its citizens to avoid traveling to Indonesia because of a warning by police in Jakarta about possible suicide bombings, particularly at embassies, international schools, office buildings and shopping malls.
In an e-mailed statement, U.S. officials said the American embassy in Jakarta, the consulate in the city of Surabaya and all other American government facilities would be closed. They also reaffirmed earlier warnings that the threat of terrorism in Indonesia remains high, but did not elaborate on what led to the closings Thursday.
Attacks could occur at any time and could be directed against any location, including those frequented by foreigners and identifiably American and other Western facilities or businesses in Indonesia, the statement said.

He confirmed to the newspaper that a meeting was held last June between Al-Zarqawi and a Lebanese fugitive, Emad Mughania, at one of Al-Quds corps centers in Kermanshah providence in western Iran. The source said Mughania played an influential role in forming the Al-Mahdi Army. Al-Mahdi Army belongs to the strict Shia religious cleric, Muqtada Al-Sadr, and trains its members in camps inside Iran. He also mentioned the entrance of Shia fighters from Lebanon to Iraq dressed as religious studies students. These fighters then join Al-Madi Army under the supervision of Emad Mughania. Mughania underwent a cosmetic surgery recently in a sanitarium for the revolutionary guards in northern Iran to change his face. This is the 5th surgery for Mughania, who's been chased by Western and Arabic intelligence organizations for a number of years now. The source said Mughania kept his relationships with Aymen Al-Thawahiri, the number-two man in Al-Qaida organization despite the difficulty of contacting him lately. He added that Mughania submitted a report early this year to chief of the revolutionary guards intelligence after a visit to Iraq. The report outlined the importance of expanding a framework of collaboration between Al-Mahdi Army and Al-Zarqawi's group. Muqtada has lost his standing among the Iraqi shia, especially Al-Najaf, while gaining more supporters in the Sunni triangle.")

Sorry about the repeat of that Indonesia-embassy story ... I didn't realize someone else already had a link to it.
Not a problem.
On another note, I wonder who this is (news from Pakastan):
Wanted man held in Multan
MULTAN, May 25: A wanted man is reported to have been arrested by personnel of an intelligence agency from the Cantonment Railway Station here. The personnel surrounded the railway station before the arrival of Tezgam Express early on Wednesday morning. Eyewitnesses said several vehicles with tinted glasses had been parked outside the station while a contingent of police was also seen nearby.
As soon as the train pulled into the station, the intelligence agency personnel rushed towards a carriage and took the man into custody.
Local police authorities, however, expressed their ignorance about the incident.
A source said that the intelligence agency had been monitoring the man since he had boarded the train at Bahawalpur.
The source said that the man was sent to Rawalpindi. His identity could not be ascertained.
BANNU, May 25: A man arrested in connection with missile attacks in Bannu has confessed to having been trained as a terrorist and having links with outlawed organizations, district police officer Abid Ali said at a press briefing here on Tuesday.
The accused, Arifullah, who was arrested last week along with three other suspects, was produced before a local court on Tuesday, where he recorded his confessional statement under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code and admitted to having been trained by Jaish-i-Mohammad, a banned religious outfit, and having links with Al Qaeda.
Arifullah admitted to having carried out attacks on a cinema, and an assault on ISI inspector Kamal Hussain, planting mines in the path of military convoys and carrying out a bomb blast in Bazaar Ahmad Khan in Bannu city. The DPO said that Arifullah had admitted that two Uzbeks, Ahmad and Hassan, an Arab, Mughira, and their local leader Sidratullah, used to prepare plans for attacking the Bannu cantonment.
He quoted Arifullah as having said that a man Luqman, who was hiding in Mirali in the North Waziristan Agency, was the head of their strategic wing in these areas.
He said that Sidratullah had also admitted to having affiliation with a religio-political party. Ammunition was supplied to them from FR Janikhel, the DPO said.
The DPO said the other three accused would be produced in the court in due course of time.
Yep!
