I don't get out much, so TV voices in the background are the only ones I hear on some days. I figure the TV ones keep out the ones tomkow hears. So far, so good! ;)

Did you see the "tomkow" vaccine? Mr. Tonkin and I were having a "tomkow" day the other day and decided we needed one in case his voices WERE contagious!

Good evening Troops, Canteeners, Lurkers, Foreigners, and those Abducted from Mars.
I hope everyone is having a great night!!
My favorite jokes are so obnoxious that I will spare Ma's disgrace and will not mention them.
However, if anyone would like to hear them...please FReepmail me and I'll tell ya.
Although, you will have to understand that FReepmail to MoJo will take forever to
receive a reply back to you.
So? Use your imagination and go from there. Hehe!
One more thing: Do any of you believe that Mr.Tonkin actually does work at the Coast Guard Base? Be honest!! He's really there to eat up all the soup.
This deserves an investigation. Don't you think? LOL!

My critical updates just loaded and my computer went nuts; I had to call Comcast, recycle the router twice, recycle the modem twice, restart 5 times, and delete all temp internet files from a 404 message window to get the speed back up; I even had MS do a repair check with the router software, sure hope I got my money's worth.

Well, you deserve credit....Actually, I cannot take original credit. I saw it in the tagline of an unkown Freeper, whom I believe is long gone, a long time ago. I have always given credit to whomever it was I boosted it from originally.

Whew - you woulda been proud of me today. The kids were getting an overview of the Civil War today and their texts -- an Usborne World History book (which didn't surprise me) and "Child's History of the World" (which was written in 1929 and DID surprise me) -- BOTH said the Civil War was fought because the South wanted slaves and the North didn't. Thank God I'm their teacher and could explain that it was a bit more complex and that the root of the difference was state's rights to determine such things vs. the right of the federal government to do so.

Hi, Kathy! Hi, MoJo!
MoJo, I have some of those jokes. The problem is, I'm terrible at telling them. And I'm great to tell jokes because I forget them by the next day and you can tell them to me again. :-)
