I'm 52, and still exercise strenuously, running weight lifting, etc....I owned a fitness center. Amazing that the President trains at 170 beats per minute. And to burn 1300 calories on a Lifecycle means he has to do at least an hour... absolutely incredible physical shape. God Bless him.

As any of the military types here will tell you, if you WANT to go overseas, check the box that says you want to stay stateside. Reverse psychology is an absolute must when dealing with the military.

And you think that they know THAT in New York? They're a bit too "open-minded" to think on the same plane as our President. Their biggest connection to the "red states" is an endless pontification about the status of women at some private golf club. Our President tries to defeat an axis of evil and promote a culture of life, and all The New York Times can do is adopt a melancholy tone to revel in gay marriage and socialize with terrorists.

As an aside... I just received my iPod MINI from Citibank (they were giving them away to anyone who signed up for one of their checking accounts, and deposited at least $2,500). I really like the little device. It works well with both my music and Audible books. The battery life appears to be less than advertised, however (I say "appears", because I haven't let it run down to empty yet - I am going by the LED indicator on the screen).

Citibank is now offering a free iPod Shuffle in exchange for signing up for one of their credit cards. I just signed up for that deal, so I should be able to report back on the iPod Shuffle in a couple of months.

Hey Mr. Journalist Man, "Fortunate Son" is way more of a match for one ex-VP Al Gore, son of a Senator, and recipient of a low-risk short-tour in Vietnam.

(Note: I don't hold the terms of Al Gore's Vietnam service against him - between his Senator father and brass looking to avoid high-profile injuries, he probably had little say in the matter. However, Al's later campaign bragging about seeing combat is another matter.....)

The NY Times actually wrote an article and seems surprised that a guy from Texas likes country music, and somone, who came of age in the 60's might like some basic rock music, and listens to it when he works out.

They actually paid somone to write this, visited somone else to get an opinion, and actually seem surprised to realize that the President is a consumer of culture in his own way.

Wow, what ground breaking journalism, this is pulitzer prize stuff.
