His complaints have been posted on Internet Web logs that have been in overdrive since the Terri Schiavo case. All of the Terri Schiavo people have come to our rescue, Mullinax said. This things going national.

here's a story from the local paper

I'm calling the governor and elected officials.
I have my state senators home phone #, and know him on a first name basis. Hopefully he'll listen and understand the importance.

They say search is your friend...LOL, not necessarily.
Sorry to repeat the thread. I just wanted to make certain everyone knew it had been picked up by their local newspaper.

Thanks, because I didn't know. I ggogled yesterday trying to find local stories and couldn't. I just happened to be on the computer when you posted this.
To: eyespysomething
Good, I'm glad it caught your eye. It makes you wonder how many more of these attempts to snuff out life are going on in this country.

Thank you for the ping.

There you go. Largrange sounds local, too. The town will be in an uproar, I suspect. It has legs.

A black robe gave the granddaughter legal custody, and this is what she wants - our legal rights are now in jeopardy, as a probate judge basically overruled a living will.

I grew up there and even though I moved a few years ago, I know several of the people mentioned in the article. It will be interesting to call home today.

What good is a "living will" if judges just ignore it?
To: Proud Conservative2
There is only one approach that makes sense. Any person that requires the constant intervention of one or more to keep them alive must be kept alive by those who want them to live, at their own expense, with no public assistance whatsoever, and a complete bar to lawsuits against anyone else in order to gain funds to continue keeping that person alive.

I'll post what I can.
It could be tough for me because I have a great respect for one of the men mentioned and he may not be too popular on FR.

Thanks for a local story. Hope they verified it. Actually, IMO, a local story holds more crediblity than World Net Daily.
I still hope everyone crosses their 't's' & dots their 'i's' before going ballistic/national. Don't want Glenn Bell, or anyone else, losing the strong credibility THEY may have.
There are alot of cowards out there who won't run with this until the bandwagon starts moving. Pity, that.

My dad had a living will that said DO NOT RESUSITATE. It was on file with the hospital that he was taken to after having been without oxygen for over 30 minutes. They were told that this document was on file in their hospital. They ignored it and made his departure horrid.
