Arthur Finkelstein, prominent Republican consultant who has directed a series of hard-edged political campaigns to elect conservatives in the U.S. and Israel over the past 30 years, said Friday that he had married his male partner in civil ceremony at home in Mass... MORE... Finkelstein said in a brief interview that he had married his partner of 40 years to ensure couple had same benefits available to married heterosexual couples... Developing, NYT, say newsroom sources,,,
If he's suppose to be so "prominent", how come I've never heard of him? If he's suppose to be conservative, what's he doing in a liberal interview admitting he's a sexually dysfunctional pervert?
With friends like that, who needs enemies? Fire this freak!
What can they say.......that the GOP is more diverse....
Where's the proof of that insinuation?
According to most articles about him, he is almost reclusive.
Classic...........just................classic......
He should be ashamed!
Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Proof that some Republicans aren't conservative.
Let DirtyHarryY2K and me know if you want on/off this pinglist.
And, you can add one more element to Finkelstein's reality; he is gay, yet he's worked for a gaggle of gay-bashing Republican Senators including Lauch Faircloth (R-N.C.), Jesse Helms (R-N.C), Don Nickles (R-Okla.) and Sen. (Bob) Smith (R-New Hampshire), all of whom voted against legislation banning discrimination against gays while Finkelstein was working for them. (snip)
In a rare interview in December 2004, with Boaz Gaon of Maariv, an Israeli daily newspaper, Finkelstein seemed to be suggesting that things may have shifted too far to the right in the U.S.: "The political centre has disappeared, and the Republican Party has become the party of the Christian right more so than in any other period in modern history" he said. (snip)
"Bush's strategy secures the power of the American Christian right not only for this term," Finkelstein said. "In fact, it secures its ability to choose the next Republican president."
One thing is sure, this guy is NO FRIEND to Christians in general, or President Bush in particular. Hence, an interview with the NY Slimes.
I'm waiting until science figures out whether homosexuality is inborn or not before I take a position on the matter.
Let's hope he's right with this one!
The Commandments were JEWISH FIRST!
My favorite is the 11th!
See # 49.
You know, as a long-time Cheech and Chong fan, I always did wonder what happened to the Finkelstein s**t kid after he graduated from military school.
I don't have a clue--just trying to figure out why he might grant the interview.
RIGHT! I'm not against homosexuality. I'm against mainstream homosexuality.
Leviticus 18:22
He's not Jewish, either, except in the sense of being semitic by blood.
I'm not a believer in 11th commandments. I'm a believer in calling 'em like I see 'em. His act lends tons of legitimacy to the illegal actions of the Massachusetts Supreme Court, and to our opposition in general rhetorically. Better now than during an election year, is the best I can say for it.
Here's more:
Finkelstein told Maariv that he was troubled by the strategy of dividing the country by "values of religion and culture."
"Bush courted the evangelical vote," he said, "and turned these elections, in fact, into a referendum on the religious and cultural nature of America. This is my problem."
I have little doubt of this guy's (new) agenda.
You'll remember this fom Reiser 02.
