Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

Now I know why Miss V was screaming when my wife called me while she was holding her yesterday down in Austin. She knows about these things.... course she's also cutting at least 3 teeth and probably a couple more, she's already got two through on the bottom.
Ya gotta git well, cause I think we may really need you soon. It may soon be open season on Jihadies, at least in Texas and Oklahoma, and we need you to harvest a bunch of them. I'd say fill your limit, but I doubt there will be a limit when the time comes. Gotta protect and save our country for the little ones, like your Punkin (aka Texas Termite) and my Miss Victoria. Thanks for the new update. This is difficult to hear, but I know our prayers are getting to Heaven, and that we have a God who cares more for Cobby then even we do.
Cobby, just know you are always in my prayers and that if we can do anything at all for you, don't dare not let us know. We aren't that far away! Prayers for Faith too, as I know she is going through a difficult time. Gosh, wish we would hear some really good news soon!

October 7th, is our dear Texas Cowboy's birthday - Happy Birthday, TC, and many happy returns of the day.
My son's birthday is the same day....and TC has been the one person I was able to discuss his problems with, the one person who truly understood, the one person who always took the time to send the perfect words of advice and prayers for resolution.
TC, you're a real hero in my eyes. You know I've been praying for you and for Faith every day. Please get better!

Sunday update.....
I spoke to Faith a little bit ago and TC was feeling better last night. His lung is still draining, so they have to wait until possibly Tuesday to put the "permanent" drain tube in. Then hopefully he'll get to come home by Friday.
Last night, she said his color was better. So that's an improvement! We're looking for all the good signs that he's better. And yes, he still is planning on going into treatment as soon as he can. Anyone who knows him knows that this man will fight... and he might win!!
Faith did tell him about all of the well wishes, prayers, etc. and he said he knows it. So our efforts of prayers and concern are not going unnoticed.
This is short, but I thought I'd let y'all know what I know for now.
