Just heard a "this just in" flash on KFI AM640 in Los Angeles that the police in Las Vegas have executed a search warrant on the home of the woman who found a finger in her Wendy's chili. Police suspect the finger may that of the woman's dead aunt.

So who "fingered" her as a suspect?Don't know, but I'm going to hazard a guess and say the the cops tested the finger's DNA and found a bunch of alleles that matched those of the woman. She must not watch CSI to know that family member's DNA have a lot of commonality.

She should NOT get off with community service--she must do hard time--if she put that finger in there.

When they said there would be finger food for dinner, I don't think this is what most people have in mind.

Forget about the end of a finger! Where's the BODY??

If she's smart, she won't knuckle-under to these allegations.

Some FReepers said this from the beginning...that it was a plant. Well, my mom said as much...in fact, she says every time something like this 'happens', its faked. She could be right.

Actually, if I understand how Wendy's cooks their chilli, they cook the beef at each location and also use leftover cooked burgers. According to the discussions on radio in Columbus, home of Wendy's, there is no way the finger made it through processing and ended up in the woman's chilli.

Police suspect the finger may that of the woman's dead aunt. Did the woman keep the aunt around for spare parts, or what? Must have been chilly in her house. Did the finger go missing from the hand before or after the death of the aunt?

Somebody recognized that there was mischief afoot. Don't give the knuckledraggers any ideas! Can't you just see Nike getting sued over a newly-opened, but already-occupied, gym shoe?

The meat in Wendy's Chili is broken up hamburger patties that are too dry to make into burgers.
There was no way that they would have missed a finger sticking out of a patty on the grill.
