Arabs beat French students.
The Weekly Standard ^ | Olivier Guitta

Posted on 04/07/2005 12:17:39 PM PDT by Bushwacker777

On March 8, tens of thousands of high school students marched through central Paris to protest education reforms announced by the government. Repeatedly, peaceful demonstrators were attacked by bands of black and Arab youths--about 1,000 in all, according to police estimates. The eyewitness accounts of victims, teachers, and most interestingly the attackers themselves gathered by the left-wing daily Le Monde confirm the motivation: racism.

Some of the attackers openly expressed their hatred of "little French people." One 18-year-old named Heikel, a dual citizen of France and Tunisia, was proud of his actions. He explained that he had joined in just to "beat people up," especially "little Frenchmen who look like victims." He added with a satisfied smile that he had "a pleasant memory" of repeatedly kicking a student, already defenseless on the ground.

Another attacker explained the violence by saying that "little whites" don't know how to fight and "are afraid because they are cowards." Rachid, an Arab attacker, added that even an Arab can be considered a "little white" if he "has a French mindset."

Cali Freepers may have red state politics, but still remain blue state pantywaists at heart.

Kiss my ass, tough guy.

I'm obviously talking about the collective sociological effect, not my own reaction.

I'm not afraid of minorities. What do you mean by taking a stand for our lives? No one is threatening my life. Get a grip, you are far too paranoid!
You are pretty liberal in your loose interpretation of California Freepers attitudes and/or motives. You know NOTHING about Californians.
I am a REAL Californian, born and raised here. Grew up in blue collar working class family. I remember this was a pretty great state until the liberal EASTCOAST transplants moved in and took over. I went to school with Black, Asian, Mexican and South American kids. They were my friends and still are.
Also, excuse me Clemenza, I am not a fornicator nor a Californicator whatever you mean by that. Why don't you do some good and take out your frustrations on people who are truly your enemy instead of fellow freepers?
AND... what's with your constant MACHISMO beating of your chest while constantly bleating your anti-urban mantra?
I see you live in LIBERAL WASHINGTON STATE! I have family up there and I know you live amongst some of the most liberal blue-staters in this country! Your Governor got elected by recounting the votes until she had enough! What are your solutions to that? ...armed combat??? Do you have "red state politics, but still remain state pantywaists at heart????"
I guess your feelings of profound impotence necessitates your attack 0n California Freepers!

Concur with your post 22. while there is some poetic justice in this, any potential demise of Europe also endangers the US, IMO. Not funny. OTOH, maybe France will wake up a little now.

"Mob situations are bad news. Even if armed, it's probably the best course to retreat if one can do so safely."

Agreed. But as one of my Korean friends found out in 1992 (they've since moved to Sacramento) there are times when retreat is not an option.

Yung said he shot and killed two black gentlemen and probably wounded at least ten more in defending the family store. He was armed with a full-auto (and fully illegal, I might add) MAC-10 and he said the LAPD never said 'boo' about the two corpses in his parking lot. Being trapped on the rooftop they had to make shure no one burned the place underneath them and there's also the little issue of how the LAPD officially abandoned the area for about 30 hours.

This family was on their own.

Also of note is that the Urban League and the NAACP never sued them for "violating the rights" of the duty-free shoppers.

I think the same rules would apply if a mob of Muslims went on a rampage and the police did nothing about it. They'd be hard-put to justify prosecuting anyone who acted in self-defense or even general public defense in the absence of those LEO's the liberals are always telling us to depend upon.

"I don't think our government is doing everything they can to protect our borders. I guess if we are attacked again we will have invited it to happen?"

You say it yourself. The liberals and corporate interests (don't flame me, the Wall Street Journal OpEd page says this) INVITE illegals here.

We ARE inviting the problem.

To clarify... If we are attacked then I guess it is perfectly alright for our enemies to snicker and laugh and mock us (as some here are doing to the French students) for inviting the problem. How is this different than the cheers in the Arab street after we were attacked on 911? It was despicable.

"criminal minorities"

Kudos to you for the courage to state a self-evident and politically incorrect truth.

"but still remain blue state pantywaists at heart."

Excuse me?

Free Republic is hosted out of Fresno, California by Jim Robinson.

You calling him a pantywaist...BOY?

(Rolling up sleeves, taking off glasses)

Them's fighting words, hombre.

Sorry, folks in the Central Valley are cut from different cloth from the folks along the coast (outside of Camp Pendleton of course).

Much better. Apology accepted.

San Francesspool and the rest of the coast (San Diego is fairly normal) could fall into the sea and all many of us would do is wave goodbye.

Witnesses heard repeated cries of "Not in the face. Not in the face."

That was probably John Kerry visiting relatives.

Californians moving to Washington in the 1980's and 90's ruined that state.

They left California to escape all the things they hated and then worked to remake Paradise into the Hell they'd left behind.

Liberalism is a mental disorder and it is communicable state-to-state.

I guess California owes Washington an apology for letting our freaks move up there.

Sorry 'bout that.

Better yet, le jour de gloire est passe.

Maybe: "Le jour de gloire du petit pâtisserie?"

S'ils ne peuvent pas permettre le cous-cous, les permettre de voler la boulangerie s'ils peuvent manger danois!

(If they can't afford cous-cous, let them steal the bakery so they can eat Danish!)
