They are dedicated to a country without Arabs and democracy. They see themselves at war with secular Israeli society. They believe they are acting out God's will...An investigation of Israeli religious right wing extremeists who are girding for battle to stop Ariel Sharon's plan to withdraw from Gaza.
I saw it last night, the entire thing.
American settlers were "extreme," too.
There will never be peace in the ME. Rancor and hatred will be carried over from generation to generation.
Risk, this is the second post of yours I've followed tonight, and I agree with you here, too. Lucky you! ;-)
I watched Frontline. Guess the Israeli bombers videoed themselves while setting up for the attack. They were going to bomb a school for little Palestinian girls at 7:30am, when the girls would be arriving at school, gathering at the sidewalk and steps to the school.
The most contrition shown was one guy musing that it must have been God's will that they failed. The depth of the depravity of the plan never seemed to register at all.
Without knowing for sure, I think this type of Israeli exists in relatively small numbers. The cops were all over them all the time, though the area generally supported the bombers and the citizens refused to assist the police (as per Frontline).
Israel seems to be watching this group very closely, and it doesn't seem like there's much future for them.
That's really stupid, isn't it? Unless it was staged by the media.

WARNING: This is a high volume ping list
Agreed!
Really? Have they thrown the Arabs in boxcars and had them gassed, or are they merely defending themselves against the Arabs that have sworn to murder them?
Frontline never spent much time on Arabs planting bombs to murder Jewish kids.
I saw it and consider it one of those "Man bites dog" stories. Most folks never consider that Israel might have some rabid and radical extremists Jews who are willing to do the same types of acts as the Palestinian Muslims.
We sneer at the religious fervor that sends Palestinian suicide bombers to attack Israelis but seldom see the reverse side of the coin in these Jews who believe their god wants them to rid the region of Arabs and sends them on similar missions of revenge.
The FrontLine hit on the Jewish Settlers and Right Wing Jews was the same type of hit piece that Lefties do on Conservatives here in America. So is Frontline and PBS now a legitimate source of reporting on the conservative movement in America?
In Israel if you believe the country should retaliate against Muslim Nazi terror by KILLING TERRORISTS you are considered an Extremely Extreme Extremist!
The Settlers and Orthodox Jews are vilified by the press just like Christians and Conservative are vilified in the American Press. You are being deceieved by PBS!
The majority of Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank are committed to the destruction of Israel and support attacks against Israel. They are not going to stop mortar and rocket attacks. Once their is a Palestinian State, they will only demand more land. Just as The Rebbe said the reason the Muslims have new demands is because we gave into the old ones. Israel will be condemned by the US and the international community for attacking a sovereign state. Look at history just when Syria attacked Israel through Islamic Jihad was Israel allowed to retaliate?
Look at Lebanon when terrorist attacks were coming from their and Israel retaliated there was nothing but International and US condemnation.
Anyone who thinks Israel could make peace with the Muslims must think America can make peace with Al-Qaeda. Those "Extreme Ultra- Nationalistic Jews" (such nasty words) are the equivalent of Americans who want to destroy Al-Qaeda and bring the fight to the IslamoFacists. Sharon and the Left in ISrael are the equivalent of JFnKerry, the Left and Michael Moore!
If you fail to see that than you have a double standard!
There are extremists in every civilized society and Israel is no different. In most other countries, including the US, these people would be considered domestic terrorists and rightly so. Israel can deal with terrorism without their "Help."
nice post. agreed... the arabians have no intention of ending the conflict. this is not a land dispute but a civilization dispute. I am posting another recent DeprogramProgram segment dealing with the war against the Jews.

Shalom laYehudim, Shalom laBnai Noach, Shalom laGoyim. Its the evening of the 6th
day, zion be-khodesh Adar-Bet, Parashat Vayikra, taf-shin-samech-heh; the evening of the 5th day, Thursday, 17 March, 2005, webcasting from the source, of G-ds Holy Land where life is drenched in blood and lies.
In Egypt today - a country referred to every weekday evening by Jews for
thousands of years as the Land of the sons of Ham in the paragraph following the
Shma, ve-ehmoona kol zote/the statement of faith and concluding blessing - in Cairo, the
worst terrorists in the 20th and 21st century, the Fatah gang, were represented by their
leader disguised in a suit and tie as the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Dr.
Mahmoud Abbas. He was there to parlay with two or three other PLO-syndicate gangs,
the PFLP and the DFLP, and the Islamic sub-syndicate of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and
even some representatives of splinter groups off his own Fatah gang, like the Al Aqsa
Martyrs Brigades gang, and after three days of jabbering in Arabic these killers failed, as
they had on three other occasions over the last four years, to agree on at least a
temporary suspension of ritual Jew-killing, a/k/a terrorist activities, as the New York
Times calls them.
The Times, that product of self-loathing, post-mitzvot Reform Jews, whose
employees have come to look upon the massacres of Jews in the Holy Land these last
four years, the hundreds of them, as terrorist activities. Thats the latest locution, the
latest variation on a theme. We have the The War on Terrorism, and now for coming
attractions, The War on Terrorist Activities.
Activities. Like in summer camp, when you went to all these different activities.
Sometimes you went to make a lanyard or an ashtray in Arts & Crafts, or you made some
pottery; sometimes you played basketball or went swimming. You had different activities.
In this sense, the New York Times and all the New York Timeses of the world,
in this day and age, have come to the view that Jew-killing today can be called a terrorist
activity. Jews today are being killed as they were in the Middle Ages because it is a
righteous act. Jews were slaughtered en masse, time and again, throughout history in
every generation after accusations were leveled against them so immense as to render the
slaughter justifiable.
It is important to remember that in the history of Jew-killing en masse, almost
unheard of is of a mob of murderers and thieves and rapists going on a rampage for no
reason, or just for the hell of it, or out of sheer boredom. More commonly, there is a
charge in every generation leveled against a Jewish community of having committed
some monstrous offense which stirs up the common folk and launches them into a
frenzy of pillaging Jewish neighborhoods and Jew-killing. In a word, the mass murder of
Jews has always been seen as a justifiable, righteous activity, today called terrorist
activity.
In Cairo today, the Hamites once again failed to agree on a suspension of this
ritual beyond the status of the day in which, as for some weeks now, the killers seem to
be taking a break during this tahadiya, as they call it; this open-ended lull which is how
tahadiya is now being translated into English.
So, in a way todays news out of Cairo is no news at all. Nothing has changed in
four years, and the intellectual farce continues that there can be some profit in allowing
Abu Mazen to persuade/convince/urge/cajole the other gangs to turn the tahadiya into a
formal ceasefire forget peace with al-Yahud, that is so far over the horizon and not in
any one Arabs head. Look at how difficult it is just to get an agreement on a
hudna/ceasefire.
And the reason for that, what makes such talks in Cairo so profoundly bizarre
and absurd is that asking Hamas and Jihad etc. to agree to a ceasefire is like asking a
serious Roman Catholic to convert to Protestantism, to throw over ones traditional,
aged and heartfelt faith for another. The absurdity of such talks with these murderers in
suits and ties is that they are not at all like true freedom fighters, like ordinary Allied
soldiers during World War II who slugged it out with the enemy and fought to the finish,
and when the finish came they jumped for joy that the war was over.
On VJ Day in 1945, Americas Victory over Japan day, some 11 million American
soldiers and sailors in uniform went home to take off their uniforms and frequently be
greeted by joyous receptions of families and friends, all of them thanking G-d that that
damned war was over, and husbands could return to wives and children, and the younger
guys return to their girlfriends to get married and start a family.
But, the meeting yesterday took place in the Land of the sons of Ham, with
those representatives of Fatah and Al Aqsa and Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and the
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Democratic Popular Front for the
Liberation Palestine - which still doesnt include maybe another dozen gangs in the old
PLO syndicate - which are composed of young Arab males who relate to their guns as
holy objects in the Holy War against al-Yahud. Jew-killing is for them in their very bones.
It preoccupies them every day of their lives, either in the actual execution of a mass Jewkilling
ritual a/k/a terrorist activity, or the planning for one. Planning and executing
new Jew-killing terror atrocities is what they are all about.
Have you ever heard of the Arab equivalent of Theodore Herzls novel
AltNeuland/Old-New Land, which was his Jules Verne/H.G. Wells-type fantasy of timetravel
into the future, in which Herzl fantasized what the Judenstaat would be like 20 years
after its birth (which of course he saw as something completely peaceful)? In his postmitzvot,
Enlightened, post-Jew mind he painted a portrait of a highly developed
economy and society and cultural life - an opera house in Jerusalem where Wagnerian
operas were frequent fare; a well-developed railroad system and institutions of higher
learning, etc.
Versus the absence of any such book written by any Ancient Palestinian. Herzl,
after all, was a New York Times-type of columnist whose columns ruminated over
culture and society, and he wrote plays for the theater. His real ambition was to make it
as the Neil Simon of Vienna, author of light comedies.
But in the 35 years since the Ancient Palestinians were born, I have yet to hear of
any such book projecting a dream of a future Old-New Philistia, a dream of the goal that
they are striving for, as George W. and Blair and every other politician repeats like a
religious mantra: The Palestinians want a state
On the contrary, in the absence of any Arab writer putting down on paper his
idea of a new flourishing state of Ancient Palestinians, all we get is these murderers in
Fatah, a name right out of the Quran, and Hamas, also an Islamic virtue, which so suits
the children of Ham, jawing at one another day after day in the absurd pursuit of the
fantastical goal of getting these functionally psychopathic bombers to become peaceful,
normal.
No, down there in Egypt today, after three days of all expenses-paid jabbering,
the word was that all Dr. Abbas could get the other gangs to agree to is a continuation of
todays status quo. No signing off on a one year hudna. Nothing has changed. What the
Islamists did was to virtually mock Israel by saying, yes, a hudna was possible and
remember that in itself is nothing more than a temporary ceasefire - but only if Israel
ceases its aggression and lets out of prison thousands of Jew-killers, would-be Jewkillers,
Jew-killer assistants, and so forth.
When all those heads of state and other world leaders were here this week and
meeting the Prime Minister for a few minutes, he was reported to have told each one that
regarding the new situation in Lebanon, Hezbollah simply had to be disarmed, which,
when you think about it, is no more than Sociology 101: you cant have peace and
stability in a country if there is an armed force parallel to the national army which is in
business for itself.
Responding to that news, Hezbollah of course answered with a statement telling
the Prime Minister, more or less, to go jump in the lake, because with them too - just as
with Hamas and Islamic Jihad and Ala Aqsa, all these gangs - Hezbollahs single-minded
purpose in life as an organization, as a livelihood, as a profession, is their crusade, or
should we say crescentade, to destroy the State of Israel and return the Jews to secondary
inferior status. Thats textbook Islam. There are verses in the Quran which led Muslim
jurists for ages to rule that the Jews were not to enjoy civic equality with Muslims. And
so it was.
And so it will be, Hezbollah says, again in the future, this organization with
hundreds, perhaps thousands of people on the payroll; this organization that is not going
to give up the thousands of missiles meant to wreak havoc and death among the Jews.
They are not going to hand over their assault rifles and explosives to the government of
Lebanon - with not surprisingly the three European countries most contemptible in their
resistance to calling Hezbollah terrorist Jew-killers being Spain, France and Ireland, not
coincidently three traditionally Roman Catholic countries. We know of the amount of
antiJew menace and vandalism and muggings in France, because of the Arabs there,
while in Spain and Ireland, with almost no Jews, it just seems to be old-fashioned
Catholic fear and hatred that accounts for the animosity toward Israel in our struggle
with Ishmael.
Arik was reported to have told this weeks visiting dignitaries that Hezbollah is
the principal terror outfit in Yesha, responsible for perhaps 70% of the atrocities.
But of course the people of Spain and Ireland in their classic, pre-Vatican II
Catholic antiJew venom seem unmoved by that.
What a world away that attitude is from the feelings of a George Bush and other
Christians like him in his fellow-feeling for Jews as fellow human beings who should
have to put up with support for Hezbollah.
This week, though, the President said the Palestinians on their part, must
continue to work hard to fight any terrorist activities within the territories.
Terrorist activities.
