Not sure what you're getting at... I pointed out the fact that I have been here longer not to feel superior. I could care less if someone posts a comment to me and has been here a week or 10 years.

If you want sans serif as your default, just define the serif font in your browser as "arial" and FR (along with many other sites) will be in sans serif.

I did that years ago. Times just doesn't render well enough for my taste.

That's what I have always done. But anytime I am on a new pc I end up having to change it. There are many users who would not know any better and would continue reading it this way which is difficult on the eyes and some people may not stick around for it.

Serif fonts are for print and not for computer screens. It is a very simple technical fix.
