OK Boys and Girls! You've now become Freepers. You're feeling a part of the family, which you ARE! But as with everything in life....nothing is free.
So! Do you see that bar at the top of each and every thread? That's a gentle kick in the rear to donate to FR to keep the lights on.
There's ALSO a bunch of you who've been here for years and haven't donated. Do you know that there's over 200,000 Freepers now? Do you know that you can become a monthly donor and PAINLESSLY donate? Do you know that $5.00 a month by a large number of us will STOP these stupid Freepathons?
You NEVER worry about a thing. It's automatically withdrawn from your credit card, checking account..however you want it set up.
So? Get off your duffs...don't be a FReeloader anymore. It'll make you fell AWFUL good about yourself.
*Disclaimer* To those of you who flat out can't even afford that $5 a month....this message is NOT for you! :) We'd sure appreciate it if you'd just come on over and bump the thread.
Go FORTH! Donate NOW!
Or come on over HERE! and bump the thread!
Consider yourselves nagged.

You don't have to sign on to FR from home, only, yanno. Some folks might only have access from work and/or the library.
I have been in tight spots before (rolling every bit of spare change for milk and gas money, ect...anything to stay off welfare), and believe me, I had no cable, no internet access, and was struggling just to get by. YES, sometimes, $5 CAN be too much. Face it, you don't know everyone's individual circumstances, and it's pretty snotty to imply you think you know more about their finances than they do.
FWIW, I've donated every month since I signed up.
BUMP!!

I'd comment but it's very bad taste for a dead guy to speak up.

That's how it looks to me when I click on a particular thread.
Have you tried changing your pagination, subscriptions, browsing and other stuff at My Preferences?

chicken suit-goat-jello- That is a little odd, even for this place.
What I'm curious about is whether he would've agreed w/the 'tragic' description at that departing moment.

I guess tragic is stretching it. At the time I'm sure it was all he could do to compose himself

Sniff, sniff. I think I smell extra change in some pockets out there. If you're able, become a monthly donor like my "mom" doggone it! Love, Sparky

newbie?? read my profile
Funny how people always feel superior because they have been here for a longer time. As if their opinions comments are worth that much more.
I would rather read an intelligent comment from someone here a month than some of the mindless drivel from people here for years.
To: Lazamataz
I'd comment but it's very bad taste for a dead guy to speak up. The man, even dead, is just pure class.
sniff and sob.

Looked for what you mentioned. Can't see anything. Actually I tried the color themes in preferences (that is something else that has always bugged me) but it did not change anything.
