More controversy over the Minuteman Project (search) volunteers who are helping patrol the U.S. border with Mexico. Their patrol efforts are paying off. So why are the editorial pages of both the liberal "New York Times" and "The Wall Street Journal" opposed to what the volunteers are doing?
...
Also, even the ACLU says it's okay to fly flags at schools at half-staff to honor Pope John Paul II (search). So why are some parents at schools in Denver complaining that the order issued by President Bush is inappropriate?
...
Plus, he was directly involved in the Schiavo struggle. We'll talk with Father Frank Pavone from Priests for Life.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
In that context, it is Father Frank Pavone that was directly involved with Terri Schiavo.
Father Pavone was with Terri for a couple of hours Wednesday night/early Thursday morning.
Then Father Frank Pavone was with Terri, along with her brother Bobby and sister Suzanne 10 minutes before she died.
Father Frank Pavone was part of the Memorial Mass for Terri last night.
And imagine that Father Frank Pavone might also be asked about the funeral for the Pope.
"And imagine that Father Frank Pavone might also be asked about the funeral for the Pope."
That would be so perfect. God has gifted him in such a special way.
Can we pray together for this?
Or, if you prefer, 'Pillowtalk Wryly.'
My friend in So-Cal, a conservative Republican, lost a lot of respect for Rush Limbaugh when he enlisted the help of the ACLU over that prescription-pills controversy. Admittedly, I don't know why Rush had anything to do with the ACLU, either, given that he could afford any number of excellent attorneys. I don't get it....
ROTFLMAO!! That'd make a fantastic bumper sticker, esp. in Arizona!
He's just a media-whore who'll bend any way the wind blows on any given situation. One minute he pretends to be conservative, the next he'll pretend to be centrist...the only thing he is consistently is a blowhard.
Here is a liberal cartoon about the SpinMeister.
They don't seem to care for him either.
I can't stomach O'Reilly. But I would have tried to watch or record this one with Father Frank... I missed it though.
I can imagine Father Frank did very well.
will [priests for life DOT org] have transcripts later on?
If O'Reilly was worried about the cost of keeping Terri alive, he should be told that German offered to do it for free. (BTW, I didn't see the show.)
I am glad someone posted this about the Minuteman Project. I saw this interview the other night, and one of the minuteman leaders painted a much different picture (obviously),than what the MSM does. He says he has had nothing but thank you's since they have been there from Border Patrol - but the Patrol themselves continue to decline to speak on camera for fear of losing their jobs.O'Reilly stated if he could get someone on camera, or even a signed statment to read - Fox would certainly air it. Thank God we have at least ONE station willing to stick their neck out!
Apparently this country is not as free as the Dems. would have us believe if a person designed to protect us cannot speak his/her mind without fear. Imagine that.
Go FReepers - for spreading the news!!! God bless all of you, and my prayers are always going out.
I'll blog this and all as much as I can - the TRUTH must be out there! JK
"The Minutemen are simply undocumented Border Patrol Agents."
The undocumented track down the undocumented !!!
Our undocumented track down foreign undocumented !!!
Nobody here, but it is interesting to know that this is one thing they are not fighting - I am just surprised that the schools still have flags to fly. Amazing stuff....
I would love to see information devoted to the ACLU to really expose them for who and what they are. My generation - especially us here in rural Kentucky - really have no idea what they are all about. I can say with shame - I did not know who or what they were founded on until 6 short months ago. In Kentucky classrooms - you are taught that separation of Church and State exisits as the ACLU defines it - and growing up in the 80's the other side of the story was NEVER portrayed. We were not given any other way to believe in school.
Additionally - knowing what I know now - it is evident through the teachings of my Senior year Political Science teacher (who shall remain nameless) she instilled the values of pro-choice and dem.notions in our unsuspecting heads - and never mentioned their was another way. Even the Church I attended in school acted as though 'you can't fight city hall'.
Thank God - my eyes are opened, the veil is lifted, and MY CHILDREN are learning the TRUTH! I only believe in mentioning the ACLU to expose them for what and who they are - and to devalue what they are having taught in the schools.
It is my belief - that in as much as the drug companies are controlling what is being taught in medical schools - the ACLU is controlling what is taught in public schools throughout the country. Why else would there be a young generation full of hate and anger? Their parents are too tired to teach the truth, if they even know it - and the school system is so controlled - what other choice do these kids have? Then - when you have a decent teacher who is attempting to share the REAL TRUTH - he has to live in fear of losing his job if he doesn't retract his words? Come on!
How about a thread outlining exactly what the ACLU stands for and behind - and a rebuttle with the TRUTH - as we know it to be? That would be a wonderful thing to print and circulate to all youngsters and their parents caught up in this ACLU wonderland.
Hmmm....I'll have to work on that....JK
Nice reply thank you..
