Welfare is the worst thing to happen to the black man after segregation ended. The government is the black man's worst enemy IMHO from years of living around black people and knowing many.
My concern is about a thread I saw some time ago that quoted the sites of hate groups saying they were going to try and infiltrate FR. JH's post looks like classic bigot lite, that is he tried to cloak his racism in conservatism. Yet not once did he address the fact the govt is the bigger evil here, to him is the African Americans...

You are absolutely right, slavery started 400 years ago and ended 150 years ago so there is no excuse for blaming failure on somebody else. There has never better been a better time in this country for anybody to become successful, especially minorities, with all the of the government programs that are available.
I agree that the government has created an atmosphere that fosters black dependence but then again, we all have a "choice" to be dependent or independent. I choose not to be dependent on anybody but myself.
As far as N3WBI3, notice how he likes to racebait and insinuate that peole are racist if they don't agree with him. I beleive that he is from Canada, so that probably explains his guilt.

The sooner blacks realize this, the better off they'll be. I find it interesting that blacks of my parents' generation, whose only government program was the GI Bill, seem to have accomplished much more, in the face of defacto and de jure discrimination, than young people today, who have program after program and so many more opportunities and yet accomplish nothing.
