Right now the police have released the victim from jail after spending 2 days there. According to police he will not be charged. If the liberals had their way and this man obeyed the moronic no-ccw law, he would likely be dead now.

That's great news that the guy won't be charged. It would be insanely easy to get him on carrying of a concealed weapon.
Note how the story is written, providing sympathy for the robbers, none for the victim.

"I don't have no money, I'm sick and just got out of the hospital," one of the juveniles quoted the elderly man as saying before he pulled out the gun. There is something poetic about that sentence.
It's starts off so bad, and ends up so good.

That stinks that the real victim had to spend 2 days in jail for defending himself. Other than that, good head shot on that piece of crap that tried to rob him. "Kendall L. Moss, 20, of Racine" won't get to be a big jerk ever again.

"Hey, Hey! You got a cannon so I can air him out?"
I really doubt this is a direct quote, probably closer to: "Hey mofo you got a mofo'n cannon so I can air that honky mof**k** out."
Amazing how news articles never print the slang or contractions such street thugs normally use.

What a tragic story! Four of them are still walking around alive today and I find that sad.

That poor man now has to replace the bullets he used.

Although I support the man's right to shoot the SOB in his self defense - I also know that it would just be a lot less hassle to pull the gun out and shoot in the air (assuming you have more than one bullet).

By victim I mean the old man not the punk that got his own a$$ shot up

Join today just to show your ignorance?
1. The bullet has to go somewhere. When it comes back down from being fired in the air, it CAN kill someone.
2. Warning shots are frowned upon by everyone who knows anything about using a firearm.

If you are going to waste a bullet, at least make a mess of something!
Oh, and I was trained to shoot center mass, not 'shoot to wound' or any other garbage.
As a prior post says, Headshot? That'll do.
