It's ironic that a tournament chock-full of unexpected results and amazing comebacks finally boils down to the #1 and #2 teams in the nation in the last rating.

Being a Maryland Alum, I feel so dirty agreeing with you, but for the first time in my life I will not be routing against the Heels. Tomorrow I will go back to hating them.

A team that with a great offense (North Carolina) playing a team with a very good offense and a great defense (Illinois). When Wisconsin played NC, they were amazed by the number of open paths to the basket left by the Tar Heels. After a grueling Big Ten season played against teams who know how to defend, they were amazed by the "defense? what defense?" style of the ACC. Illinois was easily the best of the Big Ten and will win by at least ten.
Hard for a Badger to say, but, "Go ILLINI!" (for one night anyway).

I agree, It comes down to teamwork.
Every game a different guy steps up to get the job done.
If they play up to their potential, they will win.
