Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
I'm sorry, but King is extremely hard to look at.
What tremendous respect I have for Senator Webster. God bless him.
Left her attorney a message but he hasn't gotten back with me. The receptionist of course could not say a thing because of attorney-client priviledge. Why do we not seem to have Congressmen or lawyers to stand up and fight this? If we don't do something, we'll be next. Guess that has been the plan all along.
The Schindlers asked to be with their daughter as she took her last breath - Michael Schiavo said NO.
The Schindlers asked for a lock of Terri's hair - Michael Schiavo said NO.
The Schindlers asked for him not to cremate Terri's body - Michael Schiavo said No and cremated her.
The Schindlers asked if he would allow Terri to be buried in Florida so they can visit her gravesite - Michael Schiavo said NO.
The Schindlers asked where their daughter will be laid to rest - Michael Schiavo refuses to tell them.
These are not the actions of a loving husband who is interested in his wife's wishes - neither before or after - he mercilessly ended her life.
I don't think I understand completely how the money flow chart works. Sen King was given a lot of money by a hospice attorney (I haven't had time to dig further but I bet there are other such donors)...now maybe they know each other on a personal basis and so it was just a 'given' that the clan would give him money.
None of us are so naive that we don't realize that for $$$ men will do many things.
Jim King had no opponent in the primary so I wonder why such big payout. He had almost $600,000 in contributions. Maybe he's the "apple pie " of Florida.
I would sure like to know if the republicans in the FLorida senate who caused Terri's death by refusing to consider the horrific gaps in their guardianship law ALSO were promised MONEY from hospice.
Is the SUNCOAST HOSPICE A NON-PROFIT DEATH MILL?
And if it IS....DO THE BOARD MEMBERS OF THAT CRASS OUTFIT GET PAID? Did felos, greer's buddies, sheriff rice, etc. etc. GET MONEY for serving on the board that would kill a non-terminally ill human being?
I don't know which is worse.....looking at him or calling his office to engage in some activism. His aides should run for office....they have the poli-talk down pat!!!
OK but the donations weren't made in the name of the hospice. They were made by attorneys/lobbyist for hospice.
Loophole?
The only way to get King dethroned is to beat him at the next election! In order to do it, I have to have my ducks in a row. I've got some things in mid how to get the word out in his district in spite of the media. A lot have become aware in the past year but it's not enough.
If anyone has too much spare time on your hands please let me know and I'll tell you how to do the searching to figure out donor connections. The data needs to be compiled soon so that there is plenty of time to get it distributed in the next year.
We also have the Florida Nine who need to be exposed, if anyone lives in their district let me know. We can be victorious!
Impeach Judge Greer
No matter how long it takes, Florida or Federal level we won't give up.
If you haven't signed the petition please do so!
http://www.petitiononline.com/ijg520/petition.html
People who were ripped off in Greer's court, literally ripped off are coming forward, we need a full accounting of the records!
I've been working on this for some time now but could use some help. Florida residents please sign up for the email group
http://ripe4change.4-all.org/
it's almost halfway down the page.
I think it's imperative to have an email group because there are many people who do not go to news sites but they will read their emails. This is going to be the most efficient way to disperse info and doesn't cost anything.
Check this out everyone!

We need to call our U.S. senators TODAY and tell them to change the Senate rules so that judicial nominees can come to the floor for an up or down vote, with a simple majority of 51%, and not a super majority of 60%.
Next we need to ask them to sponsor some kind of bill so it is it against the law to starve disabled people to death (similar to the Terri's federal law).
Another woman is being dehydrated and starved to death. For those who don't know background, story is at end of contacts.
Also, see this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=1379016%2C591
Please help us notify media. Do as much as you can. If you only have a little time, please do SOMETHING. Thanks.
If you have a lot of time, you can contact eeevil conservative by PM, in order to get her name & give it as contact info., as she has talked with Mae's family and others.

Granddaughter yanks grandma's feeding tube
81-year-old neither terminally ill, comatose, nor in vegetative state

In a situation recalling the recent death of Terri Schiavo in Florida, an 81-year-old widow, denied nourishment and fluids for nearly two weeks, is clinging to life in a hospice in LaGrange, Ga., while her immediate family fights desperately to save her life before she dies of starvation and dehydration.
Mae Magouirk was neither terminally ill, comatose nor in a "vegetative state," when Hospice-LaGrange accepted her as a patient about two weeks ago upon the request of her granddaughter, Beth Gaddy, 36, an elementary school teacher.
Also upon Gaddy's request and without prior legal authority, since March 28 Hospice-LaGrange has denied Magouirk normal nourishment or fluids via a feeding tube through her nose or fluids via an IV. She has been kept sedated with morphine and ativan, a powerful tranquillizer.
Her nephew, Ken Mullinax, told WorldNetDaily that although Magouirk is given morphine and ativan, she has not received any medication to keep her eyes lubricated during her forced dehydration.
"They haven't given her anything like that for two weeks," said Mullinax. "She can't produce tears."
The dehydration is being done in defiance of Magouirk's specific wishes, which she set down in a "living will," and without agreement of her closest living next-of-kin, two siblings and a nephew: A. Byron McLeod, 64, of Anniston, Ga.; Ruth Mullinax, 74, of Birmingham, Ala.; and Ruth Mullinax's son, Ken Mullinax.
Magouirk's husband and only child, a son, are both deceased.
In her living will, Magouirk stated that fluids and nourishment were to be withheld only if she were either comatose or "vegetative," and she is neither. Nor is she terminally ill, which is generally a requirement for admission to a hospice.
Magouirk lives alone in LaGrange, though because of glaucoma she relied on her granddaughter, Beth Gaddy, to bring her food and do errands.
